Really it's just protecting the key areas from getting a punch or a metal pole smashed against them by some evil sort. Which is enough to make me think it's a good idea to have some light armour rather than spandex.

it's not a stupid bias…some character don't need armor. The Flash is one of them…just like Spider-man his powers are his armor.

That's the way everyone should be thinking, it's foolish to continue talking about it because some people refuse to listen to the logical arguments laid out before them supporting it.

I don't care either way. I have no preference, just as long as Flash looks good. And that's how everyone should be thinking.

But I hope it's armored just to spite nitpicky fanboys who have nothing better to do than to complain about minor details that may or may not even be on the suit

The points have been laid out buddy. I'm not even saying I want it to happen, I just don't understand why you're so against it, when The Flash has proven time and time again that he does get injured. Naturally if someone can get injured, wouldn't armor be helpful? Maybe the suit is made out of speed force and it naturally looks like armor

No armor. No busy-ness, either, please. The Flash doesn't need armor, he has a protective aura around him from his speed powers. It's in the comics.

Perhaps he wears a form fitting uniform so the aura better encompasses it...

Also, cannot forget the police scanner in the ear piece.

2d art such as comic books and 3d such as video games are different, their audiences except different. I agree Flash shouldn't be wearing armor like a knight, but leather armor on the other hand I like for him. It's light not real heavy looking and it can be any color.

Also you really didn't like Shazam's Regime Skin? That skin actually made the big cheese look like a bad ass. For your viewing of awesomeness here is a reminder. If only they could of rid themselves of the hood. It's not perfect even for my taste but I like better than other Shazam design I've ever seen.
