you're biased. You have a smallville avatar and screen name. I'm able to appreciate the good episodes, but most of them were bad. IMO

Most people would say that's Superman. But since I like Flash much more than Supes, up top, Lone.

Before I started reading Flash stuff, I'd probably say the same thing about Superman because he's my number one. Nowadays I see Superman as the JL's moral center.

I agree frankly I blame the writers for all of it. I 'm not sure they have clear plan for her yet and if they do what the heck have they been smoking. .

Probably been said before, but the actor playing Barry Allen gives off some serious Andrew Garfield vibes from the pictures, which isn't a bad thing.

Some background on the casting, from David Rapaport. It's cool they've been planning this for a while now, even before the pretty great reception to the last few episodes of season 1.

The casting process can be fast and furious. For example, when casting the role of Barry Allen aka The Flash, with my office, we considered over 2,500 candidates for the lead role. The Producers of Arrow, who are also producing the Flash pilot, alerted us to a potential Arrow spin-off in late April. I started working on lists for up and coming actors, actors I had previously auditioned, actors I’d seen in movies, on tv, on stage, in commercials, in magazines, on youtube, vine, you name it. In late July we received sides for the new character and began our search. The search started by releasing a breakdown of the character to agents and managers all around the world. We requested self tapes from actors in Australia, the UK, Canada and across the US. We had thousands of submissions. We began reading local actors on tape in July and by August we had narrowed our search to three actors who we screen tested on camera at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank.

That is pretty awesome that this has been in the works for a while. I wonder if this has anything to do with the script the GL writers did a few years back, but maybe their would be Flash film got grounded because of what happened with GL (other people came in and screwed the movie up), so now WB is giving them a chance with doing their stuff on a tv show?

I have nothing against the Flash. I'm just loving Arrow right now and really hope that this doesn't spoil it.

From the very small clip of him that I've seen, it looks like he'll be quite fun. Hopefully it's a self contained story and he'll then go off and have his own spin off which who knows, I might even watch.

But Arrow doesn't need him as more than a cameo now and again, just my thought. Until Sara is a cast regular, we don't need any more heroes.
