I rather see him as Riddler.I still want to see Jude Law as The Joker.
Nice video. He doesn't like acting against nothing(nothing to interact with onset) and he said himself, he doesn't believe in his ability to do it.

Maybe, but even with Nolan's Batman, the most "grounded" and practical effect using one he would probably not be interested in; lus the fact there are plenty of Bat-rogues who's threats would most likely end up not being able to be done in a practical, or WB would find non-practical more in their budget.Maybe he'd agree to be Batman if the director used practical effects.![]()
he'd be daredevil before anyone from DC if thats his train of thought
I'm with a few others and really hoping Clayface can make it into a movie. I actually wanted to see what Nolan would do with him in the worst way. IMO he would have been the perfect director for a character like that.
The thing is that I don't want the big clay monster but more of a master of disguise. I wouldn't mind a puddy faced human that can mold his face or body but the monster cheapens the character IMO.
Don't get me wrong.... I want a fantastical character too. Just not a Clayface thats going to turn his hand into a giant hammer. I'm fine with him forming himself into different humans or even a more advanced Clayface taking off his arm to make other Clayfaces but the monster takes fantasical into hoaky.
I rather like it, and I don't see what's so "hokey" about it compared to him ripping his hand off to make other Clayfaces.I'm with a few others and really hoping Clayface can make it into a movie. I see what's hokey about it: it ignores the conservation of mass, there is no discernable locomotion or brain function, he just simply and suddenly works as a being with individual control over each particle of his body. That's pretty hokey, if all that happens is someone spilled some chemicals o him.
That said, I prefer him as the monster, let them come up with some suitable technobabble to explain him, build him up well, maybe even start him as the master of disguise version and let him evolve throughout the film til the final climax with the Batman. I'd even cast a talented actor known for being a bad actor, someone like Nicholas Cage, to round out the idea.
