Would it be too weird for Tom Hardy to be Batman?

i was thinking about this a couple of days a go. if he hadn't been bane i think he would have been pretty good as bruce.

Same here. Good height, rugged, handsome, dark but not scary. If only he didn't have an accent!

Not to mention an amazing actor. If it weren't for the question/uncertainty of the accent, there wouldn't even BE any other candidates as far as I'm concerned. (Other than my pipe dream of Fassbender, that is.)

The same things were said about Daniel Craig when he was first announced for Bond, but at the end of the day, it's all about charisma, which Ramirez has in spades.

Besides, I find him MUCH better-looking than Wes Bentley. ...And Anson Mount. And Rupert Friend. And Sam Witwer. So pretty much all of the people discussed in the last few pages.

I imagine if he were given a competent dialect coach to work with for a couple of months, he'd be fine.

I reckon Hardy would have made a great Batman.

But he was Bane in one Batman franchise, it's very unlikely to happen.

And I think Kinnaman would make a good Joker. He certainly has the right build for the character
