Chastain wouldn't fit a superhero. She's more Vikki Vale to me. Just like how Amy Adams wouldn't.

She's a good actress. But that doesn't mean she's right for a part.

Jessica Chastain would make an excellent Oracle.

I'm of the opinion that we don't need to see Batgirl. I'd like to see Batgirl, but Nightwing/Robin are the first priorities. The Barbara paralysis storyline could be as gripping without her history as Batgirl.

Alfred and [a] Robin is an adequate Batfamily, for my tastes.

Barbara is better as Oracle, without any history of being Batgirl (just not a fan). Chastain wouldn't work. She's almost 40.

I could see small refrences made to her past as Batgirl. But she's just not all necessary.

I wouldn't complain if we were to see her, but it's true that Barbara would work better as Oracle.

I haven't seen Gone Girl yet, but I'm curious as to what people make of NPH for the role of the Riddler?

For those that have seen it, can he do good drama?

He's got the zany mania and arrogance about him, even though he's a perfectly sound guy.

But he has those perfect Riddler qualities. If he was in Gone Girl, I'm sure he could pull of a good dramatic performance, otherwise he wouldn't have been picked. He's supposed to be creepy in it, which is good enough, I suppose. I need to see that film myself.

How did the discussion of Chastain playing Batwoman turn to Barbara? She's Batgirl. They're different characters. Batwoman is Kate Kane

Iloved Gone Girl, but thoght NPH while fine, was the weakest part of the film. He'd be a decent Riddler nonetheless.

If Riddler had a couple of scenes in the next Batman movie, especially if he's directed by Affleck, i think he should be played by NPH.

I was so against that suggestion before seeing Gone Girl. But if he acts the same as in Gone Girl, it would be perfect.

I saw that small scene with Affleck and NPH. And all I could think was that would've been an awesome Bruce Wayne and Edward Nygma scene.

I wanted to see more from there and I get the feeling they'd be great to watch as Batman and Riddler.

That dude was super likable in Gone Girl. Wouldn't mind seeing him in a DC role as long as he's plays a more restrained character like he played in Gone Girl, instead of something like Madea.
