This Michael Derek guy sucks.
I suspect KillingJoke is Michael Derek.

The Joker of the Gotham series won't be like TDK Joker. That audition was basically just a Heath Ledger impression. The Gotham Joker will be something new.

who do you people want as the next ra's al ghul?

Ra's Al Ghul is a great villain but I agree with Rodrigo. He was one of the focal points of TDKT so it'd be nice to take a break from him. When he returns to the big screen though, I'd like to see a more faithful take on him.

If I had to pick someone right now though it'd be Terrence Stamp.

He shouldn't be used for a while. Ra's al Ghul's natural role is as the Bigger Bad Beyond, within Batman's world. I would love the League of Assassins to be hinted at occasionally, just so that a picture can emerge of how insidious it is. When The Daemon's Head actually appears, it should have a sense of catastrophe about it.

Also- a small matter- I would like the ethnic ambiguity of the al Ghul's to be restored. I would love to hear Ra's and Talia talk to each other in Arabic, Coptic or any other number of middle easter/central asian languages.

As for an actor, I would plump for Ben Cross, who I think is a seriously underrated (and underused) actor. He is another white European but, like Christopher Lee, he could probably play anything. And he has the killer al' Ghul cheekbones.

Oh, and Lazarus pits. Gotta have 'em.

Same. To be honest I've never really found the character all that interesting.

Christopher Lee would been great as Ra's Al Ghul if a Batman film was done in the 70/80s

Agreed. I think Ben Cross provides a similar thing at a rather younger age.

It'd be cool if Al Ghul was built up as a major threat...

if we see him again, he can be done a lot better, the supernatural elements should be intact

I like pretty much all of these !

No to Emily Ratajkowski.

Good besides that.
I'll actually defend her. She's visually perfect for Talia.

We may have not seen her acting yet, but she's in a David Fincher film with Affleck. Maybe it wasn't just her looks that got her cast :p

She certainly looks perfect for the role, but I know nothing about her, other than that she seems to be a lingerie model.

Thanks, by the way.
