good cast for sure , but it's a bit unncecessary to have it set in the nolanverse. i'd rather it be set in it's own universe.

I believe the idea was for the cast to mirror Nolan's film one, just as TV series version. Just look at some of them, they are visually spot-on when you compare them to the cast from the trilogy.

For example, Harry Treadaway would not be the best choice for Scarecrow, but is perfect as TV version of Cillian Murphy's Scarecrow.

He gives the same vibe, a bit creepy, nerdy, young-looking fellow. And with darker hair and bright, piercing eyes, he even looks similar to Cillian Murphy. Much more than these renditions of the character:

i could see him as harvey dent possibly but black mask is a damn good choice. i was thinking "now who could he play ? " the other day, too lol.
