Can't wait to see what they did with Barry
I bet he's gonna look like a monster.

I think we're gonna get a ripped Joker.

Makes sense to me since Joaquin Phoenix already did the super thin lanky Joker.

Really really really not sure how to feel about that. If we had to get another muscular Joker I'd much prefer him to be built more like Bruce Lee if anything.

I'll have to see how it's excuted to really have an opinion on it.

But I think it makes sense for this specific Batman who's so brutal and physical.

Joker would need to challenge him physically as well as physiology.

Don't we only see his head behind a window in the movie? He probably won't be as ripped as he is now when he finally films the sequel.

Well, yeah he wouldn't have been as ripped at the time; I was talking more about the sequels when we inevitably see more of him

But anyone can get short, slightly wavy/curly hair. If that's that twitter user's only criteria for playing the Joker, then it's a shame we missed out on Tears for Fears playing him in the '80s.

I just hope Barry's current physique doesn't distract too much for the sequels

That'll be this Joker's origin story. He comes second to Batman in a swimsuit competition and it enrages him to the point of madness.

And then Batman misfires his Shark Repellent Bat-Spray during the competition's surfing challenge, getting some on Joker.

He has a chemical allergic reaction turning his skin white and his hair green.

You're assuming he's still going to be buff by the time they film the sequel, which probably won't be for another three years or more.

I doubt it'll be that noticeable either way if he's in a suit or something.

It is true that we will barely see Barry's face, but after people have screenshots of it and brighten and enhance the pics, we will get a clearer look I imagine. Also, I'm willing to bet Matt Reeves, Barry or Warner Bros. themselves will release official promotional photos of Barry as Joker after the movie comes out and everybody knows

Why would an "unseen" character need prosthetics?

Fire Reeves and get you 2 on the writing team. :funny:

Original 40s Joker was buff. Animated series/ROTJ/Justice League Joker was buff. Dark Knight Returns Joker is buff. I have no real problem with a Joker who can hold his own in combat, I know the character is mostly scary from a "psychological" angle but knowing I could beat his ass if I had to does kinda take away from his intimidation factor.

Original 40s Joker wasn't buff at all, he was very spindly.
