The Batman Spoiler Discussion Thread

Someone figured out it's rate... won't be 100% until tomorrow.

It's like 1.63 / 1 hour or something.

I think it’s probably the deleted scene but also could be a sequel announcement because it’s weird how WB hasn’t announced it yet..

Well, they announced The Penguin. We're getting a sequel... and more shows. We don't need to worry. Hell - DUNE Part 2 was a lock pre-opening night and WB let that announcement ride out almost a week for some reason.

After my third viewing, I couldn't not see this image...

...when Batman was looking though the skylight at the DROPS location.

This cowl is so ****ing sexy.

It's gotta be the scene. Or another ARG that will lead to the release of the scene. I think they are going to want to make sure that scene makes a big splash as "official canon" and not just a 'deleted scene'.

Absolutely. It looks like Reeves only cut the scene because it was breaking the pacing of the movie a bit, so giving it to us in a playful way is a good idea to still honor Keoghan and Pattinson perfomances rather than just dropping it as a mere bonus on the blu-ray.

Speaking of deleted scenes, some "behind the scene" footage can be seen of Bruce walking with a bag as the crowd panics in front of the cathedral after Riddler's attacked at the funeral. I guess it was only a short shot fo Bruce coming back with his costume which was cut to make his arrival as Batman more impactful in the next scene but I find it funny that this visual is the one found front and center on the main movie poster. Anyway, just a random observation !

Also, how cool was it that we had unshaven Batman.

Seeing Bruce's stubble under the cowl was a welcoming delight.

Yup, and for someone who really disliked it on Batfleck, I really liked it on Rob. I think Ben's was too thick and dense and looked more like a short beard rather than light 5 o'clock shadow from being up all night fighting crime.

Points for realism:

Out of 500 followers none went to the police to warn them of riddlers plan, yet only about a bit over a dozen was radicalized enough to go to the square with guns and costume.

The fact that Riddler gets so excited over 500 followers (which is likely 500 worldwide too if you think about it) is the most hilariously in character thing I've ever seen

It's a Dark Web style of following, so 500 dudes who are in for murdering people in a stadium is 'too much' for me.

Look at how many idiots should up for the Insurrection.

Homie at least half of those just got given the password by one of the other quarters for the sole purpose of "look at this loser lmao"

I guarantee you

The funniest moment in the movie is when Batman plays Riddler's last message to his followers and Nashton opens the video with a benign "hey guys" in his normal voice like any random Youtuber with less than a thousand combined total views :funny:

it was both humorous and also scary.
you have this young man dressed in a mask, but with an unassuming voice and demeanor, but he's able to commit all these awful acts of violence.
