The best possible and most ideal translation of the batsuit from the comics would be the approach Snyder took with his supersuit in MoS (which was made by the poeple that made the spidersuits in the Raimi films and that original approach in mind).
Which approach is a realistic adaption of the "spandex" suit seen in 99% of Batman comics (and most superhero comics in general). A natural, organic looking, form-fitting muscle suit that appears to enhance the physique of the man underneath and with movie logic and tech providing all the protection that's expected in the batsuit without sacrificing aesthetics.
The BvS batsuit was almost that but the outer and inner layer didn't mesh with Affleck's physique underneath and thus broke down in its appearance constantly. And somehow the waist region became bloated when worn in comparison to when it stood on its own, which ruined its aesthetic appeal (exactly like in modern bodybuilding with the GH guts).
Batman has to look mythic. The myth of a man being above innocents and criminals. A too tactical looking batsuit ruins his mythical quality and drags him down to our level.
The only exception in the tactical, plated batsuit approach that works is the Arkham Origins one. And that works because Batman is an absolute physical monster in that game accomplishing insane athletic feats with ease and also because he still looks very muscular and the batsuit doesn't sacrifice aesthetics (even with a bottom heavy lower body, which adds to his power and stature). Arkham Origins Batman is a downright beast of a Bruce Wayne in his prime.
