Get rid of the bulky look! They need to return to the classic design, comic accurate, a lean look suit shows off the real muscle of the actor, simple and timeless design with modern material. If the actor can barely breathe or move when he is in the suit, carry a ton of heavy metal armor, fake muscle, fake abs on his body, how can Batman actually use it in real life? Impractical! (He need armor to protect himself from bullets? Come on, please! Batman is highly skilled in stealth movement and escapology, which allows him to appear and disappear at will and to break free of nearly inescapable deathtraps with little to no harm, he can evade gunfire with those skills and doesn't need armor to protect himself like Iron Man). The Batsuit should made of a special flexible technology fabric that has bulletproof and fireproof ability, a two-piece skin tight body suit with the trunks. Why bring back the trunks? It looks ridiculous, outdated and stupid on screen! LOL! It's completely impractical for the suit to function in real life without the trunks, what does he do in a one piece suit when he wants to pee? Take of the suit? LOL! The trunks work as a protective cover for the zipper in the crotch area with convenience purposes, so he can pee (or have sex?!) without having to take off the suit. Imagine a scene when he romances and make love in the Batsuit without the cowl, show off his face, in half Batman-half Bruce Wayne State, that scene will show two sides emotions of a character at the same time and he looks hot in that state.
Some other suggestions:
- The cape should attach to the neck piece, make the neck piece and the cowl separate, so he can turn his head around and take off the cowl without removing the cape.
- The cowl should have white lenses and can be open or shut at will.
- Make the ears on the cowl as an antenna.
- The emblem on his chest is a gadget attach to the suit.
