Fast National ratings for Monday, Feb. 26, 2007
CBS held off NBC for a ratings win Monday night, while the Peacock got only mediocre numbers from the premiere of "The Black Donnellys."
CBS earned an 8.8 rating/14 share in primetime, a little better than NBC's 8.2/13. FOX took third with a 6.9/10. ABC, 6.2/10, came in fourth, and The CW was well back at 1.7/3.
NBC grabbed the top spot in the adults 18-49 demographic with a 4.9 rating. CBS was a close second at 4.7, with FOX in third at 4.4. ABC averaged 3.8 and The CW 1.1.
"Deal or No Deal," 10.6/16, handily won the 8 p.m. hour for NBC. The race for second was tight, with FOX's "Prison Break," 5.9/9, holding off CBS' "How I Met Your Mother," 5.9/9, and "The Class," 5.7/9. ABC's "Wife Swap" was only slightly behind in fourth. The CW went with "Everybody Hates Chris," 1.9/3, and "All of Us," 1.6/2.
CBS took the lead at 9 p.m. with "Two and a Half Men," 10.5/16, and "Rules of Engagement," 8.7/13. NBC's "Heroes," 8.4/13, took second for the hour, ahead of "24," 7.9/12, on FOX. "Supernanny" delivered a 6.6/10 for ABC. "Girlfriends" and "The Game" finished the night for The CW.
At 10 p.m., "CSI: Miami" posted an 11.0/18 for CBS. The ABC-Oprah Winfrey special "Building a Dream" posted a 6.2/10, while "The Black Donnellys" premiere drew only a 5.5/9 for NBC.
