Man, I kept seeing commercials for this on Monday with Heroes, and still seein them now. This show really does look awesome, and I'm def gonna check it out. Anyone else?

Sounds and looks like a little The Departed set in New York. (which is not a bad thing)
I'm definantly gonna check it out.

Yep, I was thinkin of the show as close to that, which is really awesome. I like the fact that's it's got to do with the mob. Another reason to check it out, as I'm a sucker for that kinda of stuff

"It's was 1999..."*plays Smooth in the background"
"You were in Juvie in 1999."
"It was 2002..." *plays No Doubt in the background*
"Try again"
"It was 2005..."*Plays Jet in the background*
That was great :woot:

Anyone else watching? Holy **** this show's off to a great start so far.

This show is intense.:wow:
That whole secen with the Italian Mobsters beating up Sean was crazy, and then the next scene was awesome. The music, the cinematography, the acting. It all pulled together.:woot:

Yeah I know, it's really awesome. I see this show as maybe bein' the next Sopranos. Lovin it.

This has to be one of the best pilots I've ever seen. :woot:

No doubt man, that was sooo awesome. I like the "mob" feel of this show, and how Tommy stood up to now represent for the neighborhood, and join his bros, even though he had to throw away his dreams. Just awesome.

NBC owns Monday Nights, period.

This Pilot is incredible, much better than Heroes. If it improves the way Heroes has, it will be fantastic

Listen to Norm people. :o:up:

Man, I loved this pilot. I can't wait for more of this show

AWESOME Pilot, going to watch again tomorrow. Really hope it does well in ratings, which I'm sure it will- or at least far ahead of Studio 60 and FNL.

Y'know, speaking of which, I wouldn't mind if BD replaced S60 in the long run. Or maybe for good. I liked Studio 60 in the first few eps, but then, and I can't speak for others, but for me it just got meh. All this "love and dating" stuff the show produces with almost every ep now was the reason I went back to watching RAW after Heroes.

But yeah, i'm thinkin the ratings will be good. I really, really liked tonight's pilot

Heroes + Donnellys is now my Monday lineup

Btw folks, if you missed it tonight the pilot repeats on Thursday. BE SURE TO WATCH, highly highly recommend it :o:up:

I didn't like it nearly as much as you all seemed to. I liked it better when it wasn't quite so diluted and was called The Departed. I'll give it a second shot though.

It almost seems like everything about it is TRYING to be epic, all these 1-liners. Anyways, looks like it could be good, if it gets good reviews, I'll check it out.

I don't know if I'd relate this show to The Departed, it's closer to an Irish Sopranos. Even with that though, it's a stretch in terms of the characters. It was pretty good though and I'll be watching every Monday.

NBC has some interesting shows coming out, I'm interested in checking out Jeff Goldblum's show (I love that guy) and Andy Richter's comedy.

Wow. That was a ****ing awesome pilot. Loved the twist.

Awesome **** The ending was intense.

Good Will Hunting + The Departed + Mystic River = The Black Donnellys

But I haven't watched it yet...so I'll reserve any further judgement...except that the ads, well, I felt like they were forcing the "most powerful drama in years" crap down my throat. Because they said the same thing about Kidnapped.

Their accents are getting to me. Other than that, it was great.

I loved it!

It reminded me of The Departed, but I didn't think the two had too much in common besides the mob stuff.

It's got me hooked in to watch next week!

So I watched it on nbc.com, and it was great...

so now, who was the older brother? Jimmy? Or Tommy? The guy with the messed up leg?
