She's hiding, she needs to change the color of her hair, and she will not have time to change her hair color during a period when everyone is against a big threat. Russos are trying to give a touch of reality in a disguise.

I've seen Sharon stans claiming that she's blonde is proof she stole Sharon's character!

Did they forget she wore a wig in almost every movie? And her real blonde hair is really different from the movie?

Not only them. People complain that it's her only development in the movies - the hair color, they complain she allegedly stole Yelena Belova's personality, they hate on the Russos too, saying they are paying attention only to Natasha, while ignoring other female characters (as if Wanda, Nebula, Mantis and Gamora aren't on the poster and in the footage too). It's ridiculous, but I've never expected this amount of hate over such a little detail as the color of hair.

But yeah, Carter's fans are there as well, acting like Sharon had some kind of monopoly for the blond color. They say the only blonde alongside Steve should be Sharon. But they hate basically on every single character, even on Peggy, so nothing surprising here.

Yes, you're totally right, Natasha's on the run, it's only logical to do so. But apparently many people wanted her to change to a brunette or I don't even know what.
I'm sad with the amount of people which don't want to use their brains.

Judging from Boseman's tweets and the leaked footage, I think it's a safe guess that Widow will be joining Steve and Bucky on the Wakandan battlefield. Hopefully that means getting outfitted with more firepower and maybe some spare Wakandan armaments.


I am a little bummed that the Whedon-era bob-cut seems to be back, if perhaps only temporarily.

With each film they've gone from just being there (Iron Man 2) to being tasers (Avengers) to being tasers and a grappling hook (WS) and then being used to fire "widow bites" and tase. So combine them all in this one and include the "widows kiss" knockout gas. She's gonna need all the help she can get lol.

I get the frustration of Sharon's fans. It seems like Natasha is on the run with Steve, not Sharon. And if the filmmakers are still committed to have Sharon as Steve's girl, it should have been her, not BW again. It makes Steve/Sharon relationship seem like a joke. Sharon's fans have a right to be disappointed, but of course they have no right to hate on Scarlett for this or Natasha. Blame the Russos.
But these new accusations regarding Belova, Natasha's development and other female characters is a whole new level of idiocy. The Russos are the best at BW's characterisation in my opinion. And they didn't sideline Wanda to pump up Natasha's role in CW.

i Hope we see the red hair. I loved her look in Civil War a little more than TWS. I miss her red hair too. The Blonde look makes sense since shes on the run. Same can be applied with bearded Cap which btw I strongly approve

Maybe we'll see it later or in Avengers 4 when the stakes are high enough that it doesn't matter who is a fugitive anymore, or when all is forgiven. I liked it in CW, sure. Whedon is the one who made it look really bad!

Yeah, I agree. But...
There will be around 45-60 characters in this movie. It's not like there is no place for her here. Almost every single hero is returning.
If they give up on it completely, I won't blame them either. But I'm afraid they will repeat TWS and CW once again, i.e. reduce Sharon to a small role as LI-device and develop Steve's relationship with Nat once more instead. I love watching Steve/Nat friendship, but if Sharon is in the movie in any capacity at all, it really should have been her with Steve, not BW again. Even Mantis is on the poster, while they've never shown she's even capable of fighting to begin with.

It really shows that Natasha is the true right female partner to Steve, not someone else.
