I thought the title was a total joke.....but damn.....he really did it.

What do you know? Bush doesn't like black people.

Unfortunately I can't say I'm surprised, especially considering he was caught on video wiping his glasses on the woman sitting next to him on the David Letterman show.

Bush did that because he's a germaphobe. He did the same thing when he met Obama when Obama was just a senator. He offered Obama hand sanitizer after he used some himself.

Your kidding right? A germaphobe, or a negrophobe?:csad:

No , I'm not kidding. He's a germaphobe. He's done that with white people to. I'm starting to use hand sanitizer after I shake hands with people too.

I've never seen his germaphobia act up around white people. But if it has, can you post a story/picture/video?

Oh George, somehow you still manage to embarrass us as a nation.

Already being discussed in the Bush thread in the Political forum...

Please do not be alarmed. That thumping sound is just me, beating my head against my desk

And while mocking Dubya is easy, let us consider this. Americans all over the country elected this idiot to lead them. Twice. What does that say?

I don't know of any instances of him doing that around white people , but I'm sure it has happened.

The title makes it sound obsurdly racist, I'm not even a fan of George Bush & I have to say: So what? Maybe the guy whos hand he shook had something on his hands or just visibly dirty hands? Or maybe hes a germaphobe as mentioned above, or maybe he wasn't really wiping his hand.. his hand just really brushed Clinton's shirt, he could have been ushering him to move on..

My main point is there are a million different reasons why, best not to jump to any hasty conclusions.

I love seeing people taking something that is clearly face value and trying to defend him. Point is, he was rude. No two ways about it. Rude for wiping his hands after shaking hands with someone. Rude for wiping his hands on ANOTHER person's shirt.

You obviously didn't look at the video, because if you did you wouldn't be spouting off such nonsense.

I have heard about him using hand sanitizer when he shook (then Senator) Barak Obama's hand, but I am not certain about him doing that with white people.

Well, Obama is half white. So it halfway counts :P

They can spin all they want. The Iraq War, the suspension of civil liberties (which even gets historians to chastize Lincoln and FDR), the delayed reaction to Katrina (whether it was more his or the LA gov's fault), the first administration to openly torture, WMD declarations, outing of a CIA agent looking for actual nukes because of an article her husband wrote, running on a homophobic campaign in 2004, a racist primary campaign in 2000 and leaving office after his fiscal policies led to the worst economic crash since the Great Depression...

The facts outlive the spin. Historians will not fall for spin. Bush's legacy will always be onne of pure failure. It is that simple.
