Universally adored? Aren't you asking for too much?

Nope.

Superman and the Justice League have never been universally adored...

Not true. Unless you count supervillains, which I don't.

they've always had their naysayers. I would agree if you meant the majority of the public. That I could see happen.

That works, too. Whatever term we want to use, I'd like to see widespread acceptance of the Justice League by the time the current incarnation of the cinematic universe comes to a close.

I love the idea of Batman sacrificing himself towards the end of this universe. They've hinted at it. Hell, Affleck even mentioned it. I love the idea of it to show that he was a mortal amongst Gods. He was the best of us. But at the end, mortal.

I agree, but the entire Justice League is mortal even superman and wonder woman. Hell the Dc is full of non powered heroes like batman.

I don't. We already got that, in a way, with Nolan's Batman and the Arkham games. At its core level, it's Batman giving up being Batman, whether through just hanging up the cowl, faking his death, or actually dying. I don't want that. It's not necessary, and we've seen it before.

Would be a powerful and emotional scene to see that without a doubt. I would like to see Batman or Flash sacrifice themselves at a point in this DCEU.

Flash, yeah. Batman, no. It's just as emotional/powerful if Superman sacrifices himself. But that's not necessary, imo. If Batman risks his life, and comes out battered but ok, that's still good enough a job of emphasizing that point.

Flash would be good due to the Speed Force aspect and since Flash gets along with everyone with his likeable personality.

Plus he would be the youngest of the group with Victor I believe.

So with which Robin Joker had his fun? Todd? Grayson?

I think it would be Grayson in this universe. Staff is Tim Drake's weapon, but we shouldn't look into it too hard.

I wish I was at comic con when the trailer was shown. The atmosphere would have boosted the trailer to like a 1,000 for me. I am not longer a doubter of this movie. Bring on March 2016!!!

I'm of the same mind. It is kinda clever when you think about it, Zod never used heat vision prior to that scene, so even if Bruce does a research of whether it's Zod or Superman, he won't be able to find that Zod also had heat vision.

Can anyone make good guesses whats with the desert batman + soldiers with S symbol? :p

Ideas on Wonder Woman's back-story?

Is she related to the Kryptonians? I feel it'd be a harder time to explain her and her powers than Superman really.

I find it very interesting Wonder Woman/Diana appears very familiar with Man's World already. She's able to blend in and be her own independent agent, investigating the heroes and Lex for herself. In the New 52 JL comic, JL cartoon, and JL:war she was always fish out of water.

Her backstory/origin will be left for the 2017 solo film.

She is not. She is a daughter of Zeus.

Hmm... If there is a "Bizarro" created by Luthor in this... maybe the "Superman" we see arriving at Congress isn't the real Superman. He kills Hunter's character and that accounts for the funereal we heard about and the defacing and destruction of the statue?

I think it's irrelevant. Superman being present, whether or not the heat vision was used by Zod, was the catalyst for the city's destruction. Simple as that. Therefore, Bruce blames him. There's no use in getting into technicalities like "Well, I didn't use heat vision on that particular building, bro."

Fair point. I am just saying, it is interesting and it appears as if it was intended from the start, though I know that it isn't.

I wonder how Lex is gonna lose his hair? Also is it confirmed the other justice league characters have just cameos or play a larger role in the plot?

So the plot leak from a while back, was that officially debunked? Today's footage lines up nicely with the claims made in the leak, I'm just wondering if the one plot leak I read for any film has ended up being legit and ruining it.

I'm guessing Kryptonite radiation causes him to lose his hair.

Nothing in the trailer rules out the leaks at this stage.

OK, thanks for the info. I've tried looking through some threads but they move at a crazy pace. Hope the leaks aren't true for the sake of surprise, but I kind of like the story... will be interesting to see what happens.
