If WB does DOS then spanning it over 3 films makes sense. DOS, WWS and then the Return.

You guys, Tobias is right. Superman will die in Batman v. Superman and the character will never be used again. WB has no interest in using a character that recently made them nearly $700 million at the box office and $100 million in DVD sales.

I didn't say that. Superman has been formally announced as being in JL1. Doomsday will be done at some point is a given. Just don't think it will be BvS. Hughes speculation makes more snse to me than Doomsday BvS spec.

Its not like Doomsday isn't going to happen at some point. Snyder and Cavill have both mentioned it favorably and to squeeze all that into BvS seems too much.

Hey, you gonna tell us again about how Superman is gonna die, then they are gonna recast him because they hate Cavill?

Oh and are you gonna own up to the fact that Hughes was wrong and Finke was pretty much right about the slate of movies.

Maybe Snyder is throwing us off with the Doomsday urmors for BvS?

Hughes at Forbes said Supes, Bats, WW, Aquaman Flash will be in JL2 unless one gets killed off in JL1. He wouldn't comment further.
SoJL1 and 2 are a 2 parter and that would work for DOS. Supes returns then in JL3 or the potential solo film.

Superman Clark Kent will not die in BvS. And he will most certainly appear in JLA 1,2,3, and every other JLA film that focuses on the main team.

I suppose this belongs in the rumor thread. My speculative reasoning for Lex and Metallo to be the villains of BvS.

Basically I ruled out Darkseid because he is too big of a villain pre JL to be a main bad guy. Seems like he would fit in JL2. I also felt that MOS2 will need a decent tier villain, so Brainiac would make sense. Furthermore, Doomsday seems like he would work in a JL 1 film where we see the full teamup.

My reasoning would suggest Lex and Metallo as the BvS villains.

It just seems logical to have a physical villain for BvS. Bruce and Lex may have met to create technology capable of protecting the world from super powered beings after the events in Metropolis from MOS. Again, it is pretty interesting how early we found out about Cyborg's presence. Knowing that Cyborg would not be a villain, maybe that means Corben is the first made with this technology.

I had also mentioned towards the end of the film they could show Victor being operated on creating Cyborg.

Hey Fallen, what do you think about Lex and Metallo being the villains for BvS? I mean, which villains seem the most likely to be the focus if not them?

I think, no, I'm sure that we will get villain conformations at comic-con.

I think Metallo is still a possibility - he's a default superpowered henchman, good for fight scenes - but I wonder if there'd be much room for Metallo-centered sequences if a) Batman vs Superman take up that much time; and b) Doomsday is in it. You could say Doomsday is a 3rd act surprise only, but still. How much time would you have to earn Metallo, his origin and the concepts behind him room in the story? If it weren't for Callan Mulvey's mystery role, I'd have even more doubts that he's in.

I'd say tht given the Smallville funeral scene it seems to confirm Superman is dead or presumed dead at the end of BvS with Batman having to form the JL.

Folks mocked me way back about this but...its all pointing there.

That being said we know Superman/Cavill will appear in some form in JL1.

The question is will it be flashbacks to his death to inspire the JL1 or will he be alive in JL1?

Amy Adams said JL1 is her last film. Or implied saying sh is not locked in for anything after.

So no Lois in JL2 maybe? No Lois in JL2 - no Supes in JL2?

Speculation but Adam's comments are interesting.

How Superman/Cavill is used in JL1 remains to be seen. I don't know but trying to read the leaves.

Amy Adams didn't say Justice League is her last movie. She said she's definitely contracted till the next one ie JL.

Contracts can be renegotiated and she'll be in the Supes solo sequel.
