There's no need to change Darkseids attire. Everything about the classic look still holds up and would look amazing in live action.

They have an opportunity to make Darkseid truly terrifying.

Going forward, i hope WB isn't afraid to make some of their villains truly scary, because many o their villains have potential to be very scary.

Let me preface this by saying Aou is my most anticipated movie this year by a mile. But I've read reviews that criticize the villain.

The villains in the MCU have been somewhat lacking aside from a few. It's disappointing to see that ultron isn't getting a hugely warm reception

This department is where DC can greatly differ from Marvel. There needs to be a lot of focus from DC on making their villains truly threatening

Yeah, not sure about that. I don't think the blue unitard, or the blue miniskirt, or the blue hooker boots would hold up well in live action...

DC's heroes more intimidating than Marvel's villains. :hehe:

Not sure whether he's a villain per se, but Leto's Joker in SS seems to be moving in the direction of "holy crap that dude is threatening as ****". And I'm pretty sure if they pull Darkseid into the JL movies he's going to be pretty menacing.
 
I'm not a huge Darkseid fan or anything, but I think something like this would be awesome.

totally agree with u as always...

I think they should go with GREAT actor, motion capture is a MUST and he needs to look HUGE not like big guy, he needs to be above average... And lookvise, new 52, and more classic looks with cinemtic touch by Zack and co. that could be perfect. You just need GREAT actor like Daniel Day Lewis, Leo Dicaprio, Tom Hanks, Jack Nicholson...

...why? The obsession with Oscar level actors for CBMs is becoming a little strange. I'm not saying they should get Batista or John Cena for Darkseid but let's not start throwing DDL around...
 
Darkseid's original look had him dressed like a streetwalking hooker. I'd prefer something like one of the updated designs.
 
Darkseid wouldn't be in BvS, maybe in background as an easter egg like Batman Begins' Joker card at the end of the film. If Darkseid is in the JL movie, he should be really massive like this:

Yeah I think he should be REALLY BIG. I don't know about getting Javier Bardem to play him though...
