sorry. Not seeing anything. I don't see how you can say definitely.

That looks like a cape and suit over his shoulder

In truth, it could be anything. The rumor of Robin being dead and Bruce keeping his tattered outfit in display might cloud our judgments and make us see what isn't really there.

My sister and brother-in-law don't follow comic books or comic book movies like I do. But when I showed them that shot they both said it looked like a cape hanging in the background. My sister knowing of Batman and Robin asked if that was Robin's suit hanging up. So it's not just rumors making people see what they want to see.

if anything it looks like it might be another Batman like cowl with a belt and boots below. Enlarge it and brighten it and you'll see. If anything it's Batgirl's old outfit. lol or one of his but an earlier version

I thought I saw boots below as well. I do believe it is a suit of some sort

So you trust them? It goes against your "trust no one" sig. :oldrazz:

Seriously though, even if not an avid comic book reader one could always assume Robin to be somewhere there (as everybody knows about Batman and Robin) and when seeing a batsuit and then in the same scene something that looks similarly to the suit that they've just seen, it makes sense they'd assume it to be Robin's costume. It looks more like another Batman cape to me.

The way I see this matter is, we've been jumping to conclusions regarding this film quite much and this time I'd rather wait for more pics/info before calling anything confirmed (not saying that you did, by the way).

She's my sister...of course I trust her lol

I was joking mate. :cwink:

Anyway, if you guys can see the Robin's suit there, then great. I myself have been deceived by my own eyes too many times to trust them.

And I for sure am not trusting you guys. :oldrazz: :o

No offense whatsoever, but one piece of anecdotal evidence isn't necessarily proof that something is hanging back there. I only say that because we've all seen this happen over countless CBMs. People will come outta the woodwork claiming they're seeing something in an eye, a rock, a puff of smoke, etc.

This movie is making cinematic history by featuring the two biggest superheroes of all time. It's also introducing a lot of heroes who've yet to make their big screen debut. When you take that into account, it's easy to see why even people on the far and away end of the fan spectrum will think Robin isn't far behind.

Oh I'm not saying it IS a uniform, just that it LOOKS like a cape and boots to me. And apparently my sister and brother-in-law lol

I don't see a shirt or pants but I do see what appears to be a cape, cowl, boots and maybe a belt. I've loaded up the hi-res hi bitrate one in VLC and zoomed in ,adjusted brightness and put it on a loop but still can't make it all out. but something that looks like another Batsuit is there.

All I could make out is a cape and boots...that's it. If you can post the version you are looking at so I can get a clearer look I'd appreciate it

What's up guys, I'm a super casual poster. Meaning I post once or twice every 5 years, but I'm always reading and I think you guys are hilarious, and I love reading your speculation and rumors !

Anyways, I have a theory about Batman V Superman, after recently watching that epic trailer, I felt the urge to go back and revisit Man of Steel. During the fight with Superman and Zod, Superman throws Zod into a satellite belonging to a certain grumpy billionaire. This particular moment leads me to theorize why Batman has a problem with Supes, because after watching the trailer, I get a sense that Bat's problem with Superman seems very personal.

Rumors state that Bats goes into retirement because of the death of Robin, at the hands of the Joker. So here's my theory, what if The Joker had Robin in a disclosed location, which usually, wouldn't be a problem for Bats because he can easily use his Wayne satellite to track him down. Except on this particular day his satellite was destroyed thanks to a certain alien, which then leads to the death of Robin, and Bruce's anger towards the reckless Superman.

I feel that this would make Batman's gripe with Superman very personal, and the fact that he couldn't save his partner would give him a certain sense of "Power-less-ness", What do you think ?

I can see it....and I like it

if that is the Robin suit, i think Robin won't have exposed arms or legs. I think the suit will probably be extremely dark red and black

That's what I'm thinking. More tactical than fashion. More Tim Drake like...who I wouldn't mind seeing in this universe. I really hate that they are taking so much from TDKR

That bastard Zack Snyder, using my cape for his movie without telling me! and now everyone think it's robin's outfit? It's not! It's the outfit I use when I go dancing.

Oh wow, while that would be a pretty big coincidence, you know having that happen at the exact same time as one another, I would effing love that.:hmr:

So Robin dies, Batman goes into retirement and, a couple of months later, he goes "Wait! I should totally build a suit of armor and go kick the alien's ass, not stand around here all retired! Duh!".

Okay, so I've seen the Imax clip where Batman and Supes charge each other for a fight. And we've all seen the end of the theatrical trailer where Supes drops down and makes a crater.

I'm saying that these seens heavily imply a tactic by Batman that depowers Superman, though perhaps not kryptonite. We've see that Supes prefers to fly when charging an opponent, and it makes very little sense that any suit of armor could withastand a full powered Superman. add in the DKR influence, and it seems likely that Batman is using something that makes the fighter a bit closer. Is it possible the film could include some kind of atmospheric weapon that copies the effects of the nuke from DKR, or the kryptonian atmosphere from the Black Zero being filtered into the air in amounts that deprive Superman of some strength without killing humans?

While that would be a cool plot device I can't see it happening because of a certain spoiler pic and a specific date on it.
