Who is Goyer? I heard he worked on MOS and then got quietly fired and replaced by a better writer. :)

You can't be serious

has RDJ had some work done ?

...botox maybe?

i gotta give Snyder & WB props on being able to keep everything about this movie so damn secretive

honestly, there's nothing we know about this movie that can confirmed as concrete. so far, it's just all speculation.

Almost as secretive as JJ! Maybe even more so??....

20th of may is coming guys, we got something around 20th every month now... I am feeling Cyborg pic on friday or something :D

Doomsday and Superman holding hands, before their untimely breakup. That's the next scoop

Is it possible that Brainiac will featured in BvS and it will led to JL part 1/2? Some people think that Doomsday will make an appearance, but I think that especially after MOS/leftover Kryptonian techs, Brainiac will be recreated/reactivated in one of Lex Luthor's labs.

No one know who is the main villain in BvS. Extraordinary and I hope that I can be in dark as much as possible until 2016.

Therewas a plan to make Superman V after Superman IV, but it was scrapped because of the failure of the latter. Cary Bates showed Ilya Salkind (at that time producer on Superboy TV series)a treatment for Superman V that included Brainiac-Kandor backstory and Superman facing off Brainiac. Reeve was set to don his cape and I think Peter Weller was suggested as Brainiac, hence this piece of cool fan-art:

Maybe Goyer dug up this stuff, and instead of BvS he used this for the upcoming Krypton TV series. lolol.

Man. Reeve vs Weller... Superman vs Brainiac.. What could have been... :csad:

I hope they do have Brainiac soon. It could be in Zod's computer key thingie. Lex gets it and tries to crack it but it infects his computer network and grows from there. Hidden but learning all about Earth's security measures and infiltrating all systems. Like Skynet.

...like Ultron...:sly:

Unfortunately the whole rouge program, AI self awareness thing has been done to death. Especially in Terminator, and now AoU. There are countless others and I don't see WB going down such a well traveled road like that.

Like Superman TAS

Well, all I'm saying is that most of the GA isn't familiar with Superman TAS, but many are with A:AoU. With that said, when one franchise does something first - even if only similar - people will pick up on it and call WB/DC out IMO. I think the studio is too smart to risk "copying" Marvel in that regard anyway. Maybe give it a few years and make sure to make it very unique and then I could see using Brainiac.

^This, people have the memory of gold fishes. I'm wondering (Beside Lex and Doomsday) what other villains can they pull from the the GA might know about? I'm barely a casual Superman fan, but it is pretty obvious his rouges gallery is not as diverse as Batman's.

Brainiac would be nice if we get this:

latest

It would be a neat twist on the whole "AI embedded in a human being" thing. Plus, it actually legitimizes needing an entire Justice League to fight him (that and other villains like Darkseid).

Well, not for this BvS film of course, but there are a few other big bads I think would work in a Superman or Superman-related movie:

1. Metallo (maybe in BvS)
2. Bizarro
3. Brainiac (in a few years to let Ulton settle)
3. Darkseid (JL?)
4. Anti-Monitor (JL2?)

There are tons of lesser villains though - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Superman_enemies#Group_villains

Superman has always had the potential to be insanely over the top (MoS ticked a few of those boxes), I hope they pull of something awesome with the series.

No love for A.M.A.Z.O.? I'm talking about the DCAU version (one of the best character of the entire series)

Yeah, I guess when you have a God Hero, you can only really have God Villains to threaten him and his world, Lex as the "L"exception...:whatever: Anyway, that's why Batman can have such interesting villains, because they just have to be demented criminals - I mean some are super powered, but don't really need to be.

Villains usually have some sort of name attached.

Callan Mulvey just doesn't seem like a fit.

Scoot McNairy is a good actor to just be filler or a victim. He could be Metallo. Lex promises a new pair of legs? Metallic legs. Laawd.

The rebooted versions of brainiac (by Geoff Jones & it's subsequent new 52 counterpart) are totally different from Ultron, since ol' Brainy was portrayed as an organic being with cybernetic enhancements who collects artifacts and knowledge from worlds and then destroys the rest.
Brainiac is one of superman's core villains (and to some extent the DCU as well) and is thematically very interesting. In 'superman unbound' DTV it was shown that brainy takes small samples of worlds and bottles them because he likes to control every aspect of the knowledge and how it's produced and disseminated.
This fact is of significance to Superman since he's always wrestled with the idea of wanting to save everyone and fix everything and perhaps the only way to do that is to take over and control every aspect of humanity's progress (Red son heavily focused on this aspect).

You don't have to use a villain just because the GA know about it; you have Loki for example, the GA didn't know anything about the character before the MCU but that didn't stop him from being one of today's biggest and most popular villain, same goes for Magneto (remember only a minute fraction of the population watched the 90's cartoon).
Brainiac, Parasite, Metallo, Manchester Black & elite and even Bizarro can make for interesting villains if treated properly.
