I don't know. This Superman struggles when he uses his strength. Like when he catches the Russian spaceship or the oil rig in MOS or when he flies. So I think it may just be that.

Struggling with a space ship or an oil rig...I get...with doors to a car...I don't see

I always figured that was the end of the fight. It starts on the rooftop. The batlight let's Supes know where Bats is. They fight, Supes disables the mech suit, batman then goes on to the next booby trap, ends up in his car, Supes disables that, opens the doors... maybe they stop there or maybe Bats pulls out the green stuff.

ETA: Not on board with that scene being Supes saving Batman. not at all. Superman casually approaches the mobile for one, for two, they don't look too happy to be in each others company.

Agree about the casual approach. I wonder if them standing at this moment is when the K-Rock comes out.

Yeah, I said that as well at some point, I believe it's either them reluctantly working together after the fight or Superman and Batman meeting for the first time when the former came to lecture him about his methods.

If they do indeed team up after that shot, there better be a witty joke about how Superman owes Batman x amount of money for damaging the Batmobile.

Akin the one regarding the computer from "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse"? :woot:

They should keep it darker though, as it's DC... which black humor joke would be fitting...?

Chronology is wrong, I'm pretty sure Batman already weakened Superman by kryptonite during the mech-suit fight. Note that he was able to bring him down when they crashed through the skylight.

Also, it is the same place that was shown on IMAX screening where they run toward each other and same one where Batman stands and looks through the hole in the roof while in mech-suit in the teaser trailer, I believe.

"Do you know what happens to Bat when it's struck by heat vision?" "the same thing that happens to everything else."

Remember the first teaser of BvS? It appeared Bats was in ground zero where Zod was killed. It would be so cool if he uses forensic gadgets to investigate this!!! And on Zod's body, is it so hard to believe that maybe his body just falls into the wrong hands? Superman a little too trusting with the human race much? And yeah, the part where Superman is bowing down to Lex? I'm not too certain that's Superman...

Crazy theory for the night: What if Leto's Joker is actually Jason?

- Broken teeth from being smacked by the crowbar.
- "Damaged" tattoo because... Well of course he's damaged by that traumatic event!
- Robin tattoo on arm.
- 'J' facial tattoo on cheek similarly to [BLACKOUT]the 'J' scar in Arkham Knight[/BLACKOUT].

:sus

I kinda like the idea that the young girl Bruce saves in Metropolis becomes Carrie Kelley Robin.

While I don't believe this to be the case... I was stunned when[BLACKOUT] they revealed the J scar in AK. [/BLACKOUT]Like, what were they getting at?

My crazy theory of the night: the movie doesn't end with them deciding to form a team. The movie ends with batman and Superman still having some animosity but realizing the other isn't so bad.
Batman: "ok Kent your not as bad as I thought...stay out of Gotham."

It's Dawn of Justice, Roach. No way there isn't some hint at the JL. It might not be Superfriends, but they'll be good with each other.

Oh, and I doubt that's Carrie Kelly. She'd be too young, wouldn't she?

I would agree if it wasn't for Wonder Woman. I can see Batman saying that but Wonder Woman responding "No, the world needs people like you to work together."

Not saying they don't hint at it...just they don't start constructing the Hall of Justice or the Watchtower

I certainly don't think that the plan is for them to start forming the League at film's end, but I do think that there will be some concrete connective tissue laid out that points to the wider world of DC heroes and villains. Shown throughout the film itself.

My own mini theory is that the AQUAMAN we saw in that official picture is possibly, again, POSSIBLY, Arthur as he is in a world in the future as glimpsed by WW, a world ravaged by a tyrant "Superman" that is actually a duplicate and not the actual Man Of Steel.

Now see... I totally see the movie forming the JL. It would be amazing if the film ended with Supes facing Congress again, only with Bats and WW and maybe AM. I can see him saying, "Look, I know y'all are scared of me, but don't worry; my partners and I are here for justice."

Stole my idea didn't you? :o

I don't think Leto would've agreed to be the Joker if this was the premise, and I know it will never actually happen. But wouldn't it be cool if there was a plot twist down the road, and Leto's Joker was actually one of the Robins? Aka, a product of the original Joker's psychological and physical torture. It would explain how he knows Batman's identity if he wrote the "you let your family die" letter.

You can even go a step further and say Batman retired because he finally broke his code and killed the Joker for going too far and "damaging" Robin (inb4tattoos), and as a result, doesn't trust himself to be Gotham's protector (inb4"howmanypeoplestaythatway").
