Sorry if this has already been covered. Is the Joker expected to make a brief appearance in this movie? Personally I don't think he will and that they are saving his introduction for Suicide Squad.

I don't see that much similarities between Ultron and Amazo, other than the fact that they're both robots. They don't even look similar, and their motivations are different. Ultron wants to "save" humanity by destroying all humanity. Amazo is programmed specifically to take down heroes. Ultron also commands an army of robots, something I don't think Amazo has the capability to do, and he's really just the muscle to the brain (In BvS, it would be Lex).

This is exactly right. To say that he's too similar to ultron is preposterous.

Amazo doesn't even look like a robot except in the DCAU. He looks like human and sort of like Callan Mulvey.

Not a bad idea for a JL villain. I'd love if they took a leaf outta Alan Moore's "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?", and featured Mxyzptlk's supposed true form of "height, width, depth, and a couple of other things." I'd personally prefer the first JL challenge to be the Legion of Doom (complete with skull-shaped headquarters embedded in the swamp ), Darkseid for the second, and then maybe the Anti-Monitor for the third. Save villains like Brainiac for Superman's solo adventures.

Really? A robot created by a billionaire genius, given a silly name, then becomes a villain that battles a superhero team. . . With such a wealth of villains in the DCU it doesn't make sense to choose one with similarities to the villain of one of the most popular movies just recently released.

1) Dr Ivo is not a billionaire, but a mad scientist who possesses immortality
2) Amazo didn't "become" a villain, he was created to annihilate the Justice League. He was never intended to be good.
3) WB/DC shouldn't limit themselves because "Marvel did it first". Most of their characters were created before their Marvel counterparts.

You're basically saying that they shouldn't use Darkseid because Thanos came first, even though Thanos is a Darkseid rip-off.

When you paint the pictures with strokes that broad, we wouldn't be able to enjoy anyone in a cbm. yes the two villains are robots and yes their names are ridiculous but similarities are not that black and white between them. The story built around the characters is more than enough to be considered vastly different, let alone the visual identities and their power sets.

Thats like saying saying iron man and batman are too similar because they're two billionare playboys who lost thier parents, and after suffering and surviving a tramatic event they decide to use their funds and their genuis to create a secret identity and go save the world as vigilante heroes.

Amazo is actually closer to the sentinels in X-Men: DoFP than to Ultron.

Any broad similarities between Amazo and Ultron aren't important.

Hell, Marvel has even less broad. similarities between their own films and it doesn't stop them.

I'd be shocked and a little let down if something in BvS doesn't tie into SS.

I don't want SS's tie ins to be it. I think it's smarter to tie it into BvS so people leave BvS wanting to see more in SS.

Just my opinion, but I don't think you would introduce a new, older batman without at least showing some of what he did in the past. so I expect to see some very short lived flashbacks of him fighting the likes of joker, riddler, etc
we all know Snyder loves flashbacks.

I don't think anyone really knows tbh. But I would love a post credit scene with him. I don't know if they are doing those though.

While I know that shot of Batman holding that spear or whatever it was, was filmed in the Michigan Central Station. The train station can be spotted in the bottom right of the pic. Maybe whatever Batman was holding in that part of the teaser has something to do with the explosion.

That shot of Cavill /Supes is utterly badass. His pose is just perfect and Cavill continues to own it as a S!
