Any other opinions on if the Lex OS is simply a way to control all of the worlds weapons to neutralize the superpowered threats of the world? No physical villain with just a reliance on Lex, and the superheroes joining together to take down the big guns of Lex's worldwide technology

The thing about the lex os being a technology to unite all the worlds technology under Luthor is what military tech has the ability to shoot laser beams? And what technology would require Wonder Woman to use the bracelet Area blast? The whole trailer reeks of the trinity fighting some sort of threat that isn't something humanity could just spit out. I also don't think snyder wants to miss out on the legendary action scenes that would involve the trinity taken out a villian only superhumans could hope to defeat.

maybe they're not bullet holes. maybe they were staked to a wall with spikes. Joker hung Robin up and tortured him, Batman returned the favor when he caught him.

The thing about these fan theory "twists" is just that... They are "twists" but only for fans. Most people in the GA are expecting the Joker to be THE JOKER. They don't have a frame of reference for plots and characters pulled from decades worth of Comic book continuity and only known to the hardcore fan. So... The Joker is going to be the Joker. They aren't going to start out establishing this universe with two films that have a "Mandarin Twist" in them. Maybe LATER we'll get that but this is the opening salvo for the DCEU. What ever wrinkles we get it won't be at the level of a former Robin being the Joker.

Exactly...people need to remember that these movies arent being made for the 100k people reading comics right now, they are being made for the millions that want to watch cool stuff in theaters. These arent animated movies these are stories that need mass appeal.

The theories are fun but in the same way conspiracy theories re fun in general.

just a thought. Let's say Supes isn't supposed to go Russia. The russians use Lex/OS which causes this accident to force Supes to break an agreement

Well it's definately clear that supes saves these aestronauts in an exploding russian rocket. russian rockets - or lets say, rockets with a russian flag on it, don't take off in the united states, so, he's most definately in good ol' Mother Russia.

It is interesting to think whether saving this rocket may ignite a political issue, possibly Russia blaming the US for sending Supes to destroy the rocket (obviously a lie). I remember there was quite the cold-war relationship between Russia and the USA, especially taking Corto Maltese into concideration.

I don't think Lex has his panties in a bunch over supes because of russian rocket in which i'd highly doubt he has any involvement.

Having wayne's building annhialated during the zod battle, i can imagine Lex having the mads for having property crumbled to ashes in the colleteral damage. Then again, i don't see Lex as a pissed off guy out for revenge just because some stuff got broken. I see lex more as a political evil. So i'd say lex is threatened by superman on some sort of political level. how and why? i don't know yet.

Some good questions in there. Did you consider ending with a question regarding the confirmation of a physical villain? I'm sure figuring out how to word that and optimize the best chance for an answer would be tricky. Still even if getting more of a no comment, it would be damn cool to take the risk in asking that question
