Assuming that OMACs will be featured in the film, perhaps they'll go with a more humanoid-looking take on their design, much like the Sasha Bordeaux model/variation.

or they might look like this

What if those S soldiers are OMAC test drones. :hmm

Then Batman's neck snap was not an act of murder after all.

But nah, I'm pretty sure those are men in those uniforms.

Where have you been? :argh:

We covered the idea that maybe those soldiers were the first attempts before Lex had the body of Zod to create the OMAC. Kind of like simple prototypes

Before this...

Hehehe that would be such a cool movie. I can't wait to see where they go with the story

Still think the desert scene is just a nightmare thing.

Sorry I don't see what it matters if that is a nightmare scene  The soldiers are still shown in other scene with Superman.

Well, to be fair, that scene could be part of the nightmare as well.

Though, I don't know anymore... I do like Krypton's theory on this.

Yes but the environment could well indicate that Superman with the troopers takes place in the same sequence as Batman's fight with them.We see Supes in what looks like a dried out water system underground. My money is on that being what Desert Storm Batman is emerging from, some exit from the dried out water tunnel.

My money is also on that being part of the water system of The Cave, but this being in my mind a terrible alt future where "Superman" has devastated the globe in battle against humanity and other super humans that environmental degradation has caused the waters to dry up and the surrounding area of Wayne Manor has turned into this dried out hellscape. Bruce can now us the tunnels as exits because they are dry in this future, where as in the present time they are flooded.

Proving my point. I really do like this theory. I guess I'm not entirely buying it, but I definitely like it.

Well... I am betting imaginary money so caution would be prudent KW. ;)

I would like to think I am right, but if the next trailer has something in it that makes my whole theory unworkable I also won't be surprised.

I'll keep that in mind. :woot:

You got me thinking, by the way... given that it appeared in first two trailers, we'll most probably see that scene in third trailer, as well, right?

I would bet some of that imaginary money on that KW. Not counting TV spots, Ithink we will get at most two more trailers, and I suspect we will be getting a good amount of reused footage, which I am fine with.

Yeah, I'm also fine with it. I think it will most probably be the case of reusing same lines with different shots being shown at that point or slightly different shots from the same scene rather than identical shots for most part. Like it was the case with previous two trailers.

But I think it's also possible (read: "I'd really like to see it" :woot:) that they'll show us different shot from the same scene. First we got Superman and kneeling soldiers in the desert/post-apocalypse surrounding, than we got Batman snapping neck of one of those soldiers in the desert/post-apocalypse surrounding, so I think it's likely we'll get some new footage from that same place. Or, at least, I hope so.

well something happens in that place because we see Bats and company ride in on horses. Then there's a huge fight with the S patch soldiers. Then later we see Bats coming out of the hatch that it looks like Supes goes down into. So we have to think that somewhere in that underground bunker is something of importance. Even if it is a dream sequence. I'd like to believe it's some sort of prophetic vision. There were 7 riders on horses. Just as there are supposedly 7 core members of the Justice League. "Unite the Seven" was on that pic Zack released for a reason.

If we see the flash in the next trailer i will have my own theory.

Yeah, I know about Moviepilot, I feel the same. Most of the stuff posted there is ridiculous, shameless clickbait--which they encourage and promote. But, best I can see, unfortunately it still provides the best UI with which to construct an article. This forum looks like the sort of place to have a real in-depth intelligent discussion about a CBM. But the formatting makes it tough to really compose an article. But my articles are all long-winded and hopefully fairly thoughtful, so most of them they don't get any views there anyway. :cwink: (Only the articles they choose to promote really get really large views.)

I just don't have it in me to try to transpose all of that into a series of posts here!

Another thought to add to this... I could compose articles in a Wordpress or Blogger blog but they'll go unviewed. Why go to the trouble of doing something like this in the first place if no one ever sees it? The point is to share and discuss something one finds interesting. And to be fair to Moviepilot, I have posted some fairly thoughtful essay pieces there that actually did get looked at. I just go ahead and do my thing there, and most of my articles don't get promoted by their editors on social media, or even featured on their associated tag category walls on the site, for that matter. But if I can write something that I think is worth saying, and it gets a few thousand views somewhere out there in the world, I feel that's a better investment of my time than just writing articles for myself.
