no one is calling him a big dumb oaf. but compared to Batman he's inexperienced. Batman has studied tactical combat, human psychology and just from his own experiences comes more prepared to a conflict than Clark would. He's a strategist. That's his jam. So of course he's got that over on a less experienced opponent.

Yeah but Superman can throw trains. Like CSX freight trains.

If Batman was so smart, he wouldn't want a piece of Supes unless he had suicidal tendencies! But hey.. I did here Batfleck will be in the Squad movie, maybe he's a member!

eh it's the other way around. ever heard of a Superman fan claim why Supes is better and they answer "because he's Superman!"? also I doubt Superman fans are the ones who made up the Batgod thing.

All the time. The way they've talked about him you would think he would never be defeated because he's way too powerful.
And yes, maybe it wasn't all of the Superman fans that came up with the Bat-god thing by themselves, but some of them have a habit of bringing it up every time someone even suggests that Batman is capable of beating Superman. I'm just saying the whole Bat-god thing is a huge exaggeration.

G@BRIELGR@Y ‏@GBRIELGRY 3h3 hours ago Okay, #BvS update. It's Feb, working on a solid date for you #DC fans. I've heard 'early' Feb, so to clarify. It wont be this side of Feb.

I don't know if I should trust Gabriel Gray.

I mean, he did rip people's heads open to steal their superpowers and stuff.

^ Rows was just making a playful reference to the Sylar character aka Gabriel Gray on NBC's Heroes.

I won't be convinced until they unhook that trailer from the SUV and post an unboxing video on Youtube.

Bleh, that means even the IMAX screenings require 3D glasses. Dammit. At least film the thing with 3D cameras.

I remember reading an article where filming in native 3D adds $30 million to the final cost. Whereas converting a film to 3D is a fraction of that, like around $5M-$9M.

Well-done converted films look very good, but those usually take longer. Gravity was originally supposed to be shot in 3D, but the director and studio opted to convert. And it looked amazing. And a lot of Stereo-D's work has been impressive.

MOS... well, it plays better in 2D.

Superman is super intelligent too. (but most adaptations treat him as normal IQ to give Batman any chance:oldrazz:). I hope they do justice to Superman in the IQ section:whatever:
I too want to see the intelligent, speed-reading Superman we all love. I think we saw the start of that in the "it's called a world engine" scene where he and Swanwick discuss Zod's plans. He knew what he was taking about because he had done the research. This plays in perfectly with his career as a reporter, so it only makes sense.

Gravity looks great because literally over 80% of it is CG. And because of that, stereoscopic 3D is not really converted, it can be made 3D from scratch. It's getting better, but it will never match the fidelity and quality of those shot with the right cameras.

Wait... are you saying Gravity wasn't filmed in space?!!!

My world is crumbling...

Just to clarify converting to 3D on Gravity was much easier than going in a rotoscoping frame by frame because they could render a second eye from the CG sets. But I agree with you, post conversion looks very good nowadays and it is relativity inexpensive even if it means screwing over VFX artists.

Just asking, The two three stories that I know of where the two raced, they ended in a draw. Have there been any other stories where one or the other came out the clear winner?
to be honest i havent read any in years, so i'm like you, the ones i did read usually ended in a draw.
That said, ( someone who is up on it can correct me if i'm wrong here ) the introduction of the speed force should make the flash lots faster than superman, and maybe even, or almost, as powerful as superman.
Again,i'm not real sure on all that.

Exactly how it should be, if Superman is faster than the Flash it makes the Flash pointless.

I actually really liked that moment in REBIRTH.

There is going to be some overlap, but they all should have those skills and fields where the just dominate, or at least are ahead of the rest of the team in. Flash is THE speedster. He should be able to blow Supes away in that aspect.
