Oh man don't get me started on the horror movies scheduled this October! Paranormal activity, insidious 3, a new rob zombie flick, new del toro flick. But that's a whole different story. (Sorry off topic)

Paranormal activity should stop...

I rarely ever go to the theatre to watch movies. There are several reasons but the #1 is that I just don't like crowds and the bother or having to actually get out and pay premium prices to have a less enjoyable experience than I would at home. Of course I'm a grumpy old man and when I was younger this wasn't the case. But then again I didn't have Blu Ray, a 3D HDTV and surround sound either. The idea that I can watch at my leisure, enjoy whatever libation I want and have an almost identical audio-visual experience as the theatre is hard to beat.
That said there are movies that will get me out of the house to watch. They are few and far between but BVS will certainly be one.

It's post like these that truly make me believe this movie will give the Avengers a run for it's money. Great to see that you'll be contributing to that effort! :)

I understand the annoyance of going to the cinema and I share that annoyance very much. I don't go out to the movies much either. But films like BvS, Star Wars etc are made for the big screen in my opinion. And I love experiencing such films in theaters, especially with an excited audience.

If filming was still going on, I wouldn't be expecting a teaser for awhile. I'd still be checking for set pics here and there, but that's about it. I'd be more understanding. But here we are, a couple months after filming has wrapped for the most anticipated film of 2016 (in my mind) and we're still empty handed. I don't blame WB or Snyder at all. They have a job to do and surely are professional about it. But to push back a release date to 2016 and wrap filming in 2014 is simply a letdown to the fans. I'm all about building hype and anticipation, but this one is a stretch. A 15 month stretch.

You know what I envy to Marvel fans? They're treatment from Marvel, they have artworks for the movies even before they start filming! They give away things to build the hype, something juicy to talk about..We have a logo and 3 pics, and a movie filmed in 2013 that will be released in 2016..This is Batman v Superman, they should change their way to promote movies if they want to make new fans..

They started filming May of 2014 so I don't know where you're getting that they filmed it in 2013 from...

Yes but production officially started in May 2014.

That scene was apparently cut as well.

yeah who knows what the hell that football scene was about aye.

The thing I'm interested in most is having a DC CBM that isn't a Goyer screenplay. I'm really interested in what Terrio will bring to the game. Sure Goyer probably had some ideas that are still in the film but I hope Terrio is better at writing dialogue than Goyer.
That and having Larry Fong doing the visuals should make this something special is my hope.

I can't explain the theatre. It's a special experience. A feeling of community and belonging. Just knowing that so many people are there for the same reason you are. Now If I get a mom with screaming kids or the dreaded teenagers whom I assume have adhd, it's a different story. My theater usually behaves itself though.

from what I've heard it was simply a plot device to bring Clark and Lois to Gotham.

Yep. It came from Goyer's script. And with weak plot devices like that, its not shocking why they scrapped Goyer's version of the script, and brought in Terrio.

That looks genuine to me! - scrap that we've had a very similar officially released image before. They've just reversed it and maybe tweaked it a little.

Do you think we'll see Batman glide with his cape as she did in BB and TDK?

I think we will see that scene...... maybe, Victor Stone watching it on television ?

Having an open mind it certainly looks legit...that does look like a new image of Batfleck...at least I've never seen it before...maybe it's from the teaser.

It's the headshot at comic con flipped with eyes shopped in
