The Cameos

i dont think the boy with the tongue out is toad... hes the guy Wolvy was carrying in X2

Wolverine takes place 15 years prior to X2. Artie isn't even born yet.

I thought that the tornado kid was just Quicksilver, moving really fast, because he was tied up. Like he was trying to get free from his binds.

I'm thinking it had to be toad with the tongue out ...he looked different but doesn't mean it isn't him. Also Toad starting out at xavier's school and defecting to join the brotherhood would be a good plot point for X-Men :First Class

You know what cameo was missing but was desperately needed!? STAN-MOTHER FREAKIN-LEE! :cmad:

To me, the ice-powered mutant looked more like female than male.

Stan Lee mentioned in an interview recently that he was dissapointed to not be in this movie. He also made jokes about hitchcock and that hitchcock once did three different cameos in a movie and now that is his new goal.

When Lee walked away from the film he said, "My God. Thank God I wasn't in that ****."

REPORTER: Your thoughts on Wolverine.

LEE: It was great!

maybe the iced person was a fire powered mutant, rather than an ice-powered mutant, as each cell is designed to counteract their abilities (like maybe Sunfire/pyre)

The captives I recognized were Toad (tongue guy), Quicksilver (in the cell he appeared to have white hair, VS platinum blonde), Banshee (red head), and Psylocke (Purple hair),

I think the girl is Moonstar, makes sense and ties in well with Stryker's files

Riptide is shown before Quicksilver.

As for Storm, her cameo was cut out, which IMO is a good thing. This way, if shes in First class, she wont be so young.
If you read the comics (have you by the way?) you would've known that at some point Storm was reduced to a child by the Shadow King, that's why in that part, that was cut out of the final movie, she's so young. Later she was returned to her own self, I don't remember how though, and she was her own age again.

Storm is reduced to a child by Nanny, not Shadow King.

I think they should've left the Storm cameo in... besides in X1, Storm did seem a bit younger than the rest of the cast to me... in this film she could've simply been 10-12, while Cyke and them about 15-16, so there's not that much of an age difference

I liked the ice girl in the cage. She looked kinda cool :D:up:

My friend thought the tornado person was Storm :p

Besides the obvious, I noticed Toad, Chamber, Quicksilver, I think Wanda (not sure), Jason.

And then some mutants like the twins, an ice-girl, and a bouncy boy.

Wasn't the tornado just Quicksilver running around really fast?

Except that the Storm cameo would have appeared SIX years before the Cyclops cameo.

If Cyke was 16, and Storm was maybe 10, that would also make her 16.

You're right! :whatever: There's so much history that I get confused... It was Gambit then, that saved her from the Shadow King. :)

even more perfect, I forgot all about the 6 year jump, so her cameo would've fit perfectly in continuity... how embarrassing--thanks for bringing that to my attention... so the whole nanny thing is irrelevant

does anyone know the list of mutants who were on Stryker's files in X2?

Oh well, since we're messing up things already, why not let that go too! :whatever: But seriously, Storm is older than Gambit, so I think they should leave the 'being reduced to child' Storm in it, if they ever make a Gambit spin off.

As far as the Storm cameo affecting her age....even if she was 8 years old in the cameo- this cameo took place SIX YEARS (it's when Team-X is in Africa) before we meet Scott Summers in the film and 21 years before X-Men. Her age would work out fine.

Also, why would Stan Lee cameo in a movie of a character he didn't create?
