Nothing concrete. Current rumor is that Reeves is looking for a "Zoe Kravitz" type (if not Kravitz herself), and Jeff Sneider said Janelle Monae might be a name worth keeping in mind.

I love gugu but I feel like catwoman shouldn't be pushing 40 when this is in her debut, she's not even reformed in the long halloween which this story is based on but I would love gugu as catwoman in the dceu with batfleck

I find Catwoman hard to cast because while there are no doubt a ton of young, attractive actresses, looks aren't going to be the deciding factor. Whoever is cast needs to have a certain magnetism, and screen presence that goes beyond "she's hot".

This is exactly what makes it difficult. Which is why I'm so against certain casting suggestions (the ones that seem to be based purely on looks). I'm currently hoping for Janelle Monae or Ana De Armas.

She still fits Talia much more than Catwoman to me. She feels and looks too much like a world traveled, classy, Bond Girl type.

Catwoman is sexy but also street smart and edgy and lives in the more criminal invested run-down parts of Gotham. She has a different vibe that I don't think Armas fits.
