EDIT: If Asia Argento doesn't slip too much into an Italian accent, maybe she can be Catwoman? A more dangerous one, perhaps? I could see her version as a somewhat psychotic one.
Argento is younger than Potente, so who knows...

Ah sorry, I was referring to your question about Charlize Theron.

Franka Potente is an interesting, out of the box suggestion, though...

Who would look best in a tight cat suit?

Actually me, and a buddy who's an art teacher have been discussing a more equipped Catsuit, something that, while still very eye catching and fashionable, you could see being used by someone who both commits burglary against dangerous people and evades and occasionally fights someone like Batman.

Like, I had the idea of her claws folding back over the lower parts of her digits like barely sharpened brass knuckles so she can box if she has to, or use her fingers for more light, less dangerous work. Or having a backpack that carries some practical tools, or a grappling hook or Bat-claw style device (like her tool in the old 90s series) she steals from Batman (or he let her steal). And both of us have a soft spot for a more colorful purple suit; personally, I'd love to see some combination of the elegant purple dress with one of her Injustice costumes.

I think, as long as they stick to a tight catsuit and the cowl with ears, it is hard to go too far wrong. I still cannot understand why Nolan ditched the cowl in favour of those weird Mickey Mouse folding goggles.

Something like Michelle Pfeiffer's costume without the stitching would be perfectly satisfactory, for me.

Partly that they can make her look like she is wearing glasses, which slightly shatters the Catwoman illusion to me, and partly because they conceal her eyes, when she should be one of the most expressive characters in the DCU. It is notable how often she seems to have them pushed up on her head.

I don't hate them, however. I just prefer a more classic mask, like this:

Well I wanted to see Evangeline Lilly in the role but that's not gonna happen but now I'm not sure who I want. I'm not a fan of having Charlize (My Cap. Marvel), Emily Blunt, or Eva Green in the role. Someone who I keep thinking of is Milla Jovovich but she just cant seem to stop doing those craptastic RE movies which is sad cause she's actually a good actress. regwec's suggestion of Paula Patton interests me. Whoever gets chosen I hope that they put on some muscle and not slim down which was something that bothered me about Hathaway's Catwoman.

That is a good point about them concealing her eyes, though, as you noted, she often pushes them up, so they could have them there 99% of the time. I like that they add a bit of utilitarian aspect to her costume, which I find quite fitting for a thief. They could have night vision of a sort and they help depart her from S&M association tight leather bodysuit often evokes. But I guess I wouldn't be entirely opposed to the classic mask.

By the way, I've been thinking along the lines - given that Affleck will direct Batman movie, is it possible that he might cast an actress he already worked with in one of his films? Ones he directed.

It's certainly possible, though I suppose we can rule out either of his previous Jennifers.

Like a teenager? No, not at all. That's Harley. Catwoman should be more adult, sexy, but mature. Playful, but not like a kid.

I still think Kate Beckinsale was born for the role, don't understand why so many people think she's not a good actress. I've seen her pull off all the different sides of Catwoman's personality in other roles and her face just screams Selina Kyle even if she doesn't look like every interpretation of the character from the comics. She's a perfect fit to me, and now that they're going with an older Batman she's not out of the age range either.

Any of them would be good for Catwoman but some them fit better in other roles IMO, these would be my choices at the moment....
