And where do I say 100% of their privacy is taken away? Have I said anything about paparazzi stepping onto these celebs' private property to bombard them with camera flashes and redundant questions? Or have I implied that celebs shouldn't expect to be left alone when they're out shopping or eating in public places, where it is completely legal for people to surround them? Is it a dick-ish move to do? Yes. Are paparazzi pricks? Yup. But hey, they're allowed. Everyone knows this going into the job.If you took the time and actually went back and READ what I typed, you'd see I said a star shouldn't have to give up 100% of their privacy because they are paid to act. How do you fail to get that?
I have not eluded to that at all. I have said that this job carries with it certain perks and disadvantages. Privacy being thrown out the window when these actors are in public are one of them. Nor do I believe fans are owed anything, period. So there goes that statement.Trust me, all celebrities (most especially someone who has been in the industry since they were a child) are well aware of the sacrifices they must make to live their lives while reaping the benefits of stardom (like people snapping pics of them, their wife and their child if they step a toenail outside of their house) but your eluding to the fact that fans are OWED something by celebrities is entirely off base.
Yes, you asked a question and I answered it on on my behalf. Did you WANT me to speak for anyone else? Have I indicated otherwise? It's like you want me to act like a dick in this argument. You should've stopped with the first sentence. Yes, YOU can only speak for YOURSELF. Period. You do not know the behavior of anyone else on their job and how they might be treated if they happen to vent.

What part of "he's a professional and an acting vet, so he should have some tact in behavior" don't you get? I can understand why he acted like he did, but that does not excuse him for his actions. You and I know he could have, and should have handled that better.Take a second and ask yourself if prison wardens and preschool teachers act the same way on their jobs. If football coaches and ballet teachers conduct themselves in the same way when they're on their jobs. And yet, they're all professionals. Don't be closed minded enough to compare your desk job or whatever to someone in the 115 degree heat playing an intense role amidst a scene supposedly in the middle of a post-Apocalyptic war. Do you think they don't use four letter wars on Marine bases? What part of 'HE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF PLAYING A ROLE' don't you understand?
Was your co-worker completely defenseless, apologetic, and trying to calm you down? Were you aggressively confrontational, berating him for minutes on end in front of everyone? If so, then congrats....you've given an example of exceptions to the general rule that you don't act like a prick in the workplace.(and BTW, in a very heated fight at my work (a desk job in marketing) I went after a co-worker to the point my boss had to physically step in between us. My co-worker got written up. Two months later I was promoted.)
Two people from the production have already spoken on the subject. They have mentioned nothing new, so logically we can assume just what we need to know. The DP walked onto Bale's line of vision, twice, in a very important shot. He went off. Again, I can understand Bale's actions. However I'm not going to defend him because it was a childish reaction.Um, yes it is. It is less than four minutes of a person's 20 year career. You know nothing that came before and nothing that came after. You do not know who the DP might've yelled at the day before or three weeks later or how many times Bale might've apologized. The fact is you know nothing except what you heard on a tape released by TMZ.
Ok? It's Maggie clearly not wanting her pic to be taken as she's taking a stroll. Same thing happened with Bale. Is there some point to this? And PS. Here's another TDK actor flicking a camera off.

You are coming off foolish here. This isn't some random blog I came across on the internet. As I have said, I know these guys. Ask ANY oldbies in this forum, they know who they were as well. Back during BB filming, there was a relatively small group of regular posters that knew each other very well as we had followed the production closely for months on end.And lastly, your "Oh yes, I know it's true, he was one of the first posters here and his wife confirmed it" still doesn't make it so. But go ahead and keep believing everything you read on the internet.
I don't know what more you want when this wasn't a story made up by people with nobodies, it has a damn pic for proof, and several other people that were also on the set confirmed the story. Yes, this is all a conspiracy against a moment in time where Bale was caught being a dick. Is that earth-shattering to you? You've taken great lengths to put him on a pedestal here. You can spout "he's human just like us" all you want, but that is not news to me. I'm just calling him out on two occasions where he should have kept himself in check. I still like the guy. As an actor.
If this were any other person, I'd be saying the same exact thing as well. Bale acted like a dick and the world is talking. Big-whoop. This isn't any more different than Paris with her sex tape, Britney on her mental rage, Crowe on his phone incident, etc etc. It happens. The world will forget in a few weeks time. I assure you, Bale will be fine. So let's stop acting like we're asking for his head on a pitchfork here. Let's move on.
