I just read that the Associated Press is reporting that Clinton will concede tonight but then I watched CNN just now and a campaign manager from the Clinton camp is reporting it's 100% incorrect.

Well looks like she is pulling out...finally. A month late, but whatever.

but there are reports saying that it's 100% incorrect.

78% of reports give incorrect data 49% of the time.

Clinton campaign advisors and staff have flooded the networks saying that it isn't correct. I say we actually wait for her speech tonight and see for ourselves...instead of jumping to conclusions.

One word...Obama.

Nothing Clinton could do,could stop him. So,now with this finally over. There is only one choice, but to go to him. But,with that in mind. Where did Clinton go wrong? I personally think it wasn't really her fault,I mostly blame the person next to her. Bill, since he's not America's President anymore..people can see how obnoxious he is. I think he damaged her in many ways. If one had to say it was absolutely her fault, the hard time she had raising funds..was the cue.

There are plenty of choices. Vote McCain, vote third party, don't vote at all. Your "There is only one choice," comment is a bit naive.

Oh comeon, that is just paranoid. It has been stated for the past 3 days Obama would clinch today. I really don't think you are giving those people enough credit.

I was just about to say that!

Indeed, but her silent threat to Obama in the speech and refusal to concede is rather a depressing sight for the Democratic Party.

Agreed. Surely the rest of you can see that.

What she did tonight in her speech was HORRIBLE. She was totally ungracious. Seems to me that Hillary is choosing to destroy this Party and Nation instead of swallowing her pride.

One of the harder struggles for her as VP would be for her to accept Obama's plans on Health Care, the economy, and Foreign Policy.

Clinton NEVER admits she is wrong, EVER. I have never heard her do it--she always finds something else to blame. FOR EXAMPLE: The Bosnia sniper fire thing was because she was tired--even though she stated it on multiple occasions--not because she lied. The assassination thing was because she was thinking about Ted Kennedy, even though she said it multiple times--long before Ted Kennedy went to the hospital...Her losing is because of sexism, anything else is invalid. The fact is, she ran a poor campaign.

I also don't see Clinton accepting positions that she doesn't feel entitled to, and that would make it very hard to accept the VP spot.

The real question is will Hillary try to bring the party together? If tonight's speech is any indication, she won't--at least not immediately. This is still all about her.

Silent threat??? What?

By goinhg public about wanting the VP, shes putting pressure on him to give it to her. If he doesnt, it'll seem as though ie ignored her and her supporters obviously wont that, hurting any chance of unity. Its all about HER. She doesnt care that, if he doesnt give it to than the party wont be united. She just cares that she GETS it.

The bottom line is she is trying to take the spotlight off of his victory. That's why she didn't concede, and it's also why she's putting feelers about there about being his running mate. It's all designed to hog--or at least share--the media's focus. Think about it: tommorrow, the media will be spinning about will she concede/take the VP slot/blah blah blah. No one will have to time to meditate on the fact that HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE IN AMERICA TONIGHT.

She's selfish. Plain and simple.

Why you don't you all take yourselves out of "Obama supporter" mode and look at it through her supporters eyes. She won South Dakota. She won the last four contest by large margins. She congratulated him on his victory. I mean you all are acting like she should have somehow gravelled for forgiveness or gushed all over him about how great he is. Give me a break. This is just as big a deal for her as it is him.

Silent threat??? What?

She refused to call Obama the nominee or admit defeat. She went nostalgic, but was also hinting that she wasn't leaving anytime soon unless she has a reason to and promises she'll "keep fighting" for her supporters. What she means is she is keeping them and will not endorse Obama and tell them to rally around the party's nominee until he gives her something she wants. I don't think he'll give her VP, but if she doesn't get something that appeals to her, she'll continue to "fight for democracy" and tear the party apart and cost Obama the election.

If anybody costs Obama the election it will be Obama himself. I don't have the energy to debate this all night. I hope you all enjoy your victory, just please attempt to acknowledge that he has a tremendous amount of work to do. Problems that he needs to fix that aren't going to automatically be fixed just because he is the nominee.

*sigh*

SHE'S LOST.

Even with her all belly-aching about delegate numbers, seating Michigan and Florida and moving the goal posts constantly she's LOST. He has well over 2,118 delegates. That math is unmistakable. Tonight wasn't just another mini-super Tuesday. Tonight is June 3rd--the end of this race. Yeah she won South Dakota, but she's lost the war.

She should have acknowledged that. What you saw today in her was obstinate haughtiness. I mean, seriously, come on. :whatever: No offense my friend, but I think you need to put down the denial and realize Obama hit the milestone. No one is saying he doesn't haven't challenges ahead--and one of the biggest ones is getting Clintonites to come over.

But Hillary is obstinately standing in the way of that progress by literally ignoring his achievement. Can't you see that????

What part of "he has enough delegates to declare himself the nominee" and "she hasnt dropped out or acknowledged it" dont you understand? Atleast when Huckabee stayed in, he left when McCain got the right amount of delegates.

What the hell is Hillary still doing here, seriously? Can someone answer this?

You guys are hilarious. Seriously, you guys are making me feel bad for Hillary Clinton with all your "OMG! Did she see what she didn't say?! She's the devil!"
