Yeah, I don't like that host either. I usually only watch CNN for "Anderson 360". I can't take Lou Dobbs at all and I can only deal with Wolf Blitzer in moderation.

Anderson Cooper is the one CNN host I don't mind. I used to not mind Wolf Blitzer that much, but he's pretty much a perfect example of what I meant when I said most CNN hosts bore the hell out of me. I usually find myself changing the station after about 20 minutes of him. He's not horribly annoying, there is just nothing about his program that makes me feel compelled to continue watching.

I don't mind watching Wolf either, but it's like I said, I can only take so much Wolf in one day! :funny:

Wow. Just wow. That is simply the dumbest possible thing she could have said. Her "aploogy" was no better either. So will the super delegates grow a pair now and start hinting, rather HEAVILY, that she should GTFO of this race already? Or does she have to pull out the gun and try to shoot Obama herself? Enough already!

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I heard a few super delegates came out for Obama this morning after Clinton made those comments.

Well she made the comments in the afternoon though didn't she? Whatever fall out there is to be of this still has yet to happen. The story is just getting born now.

I'm actually shocked how much airplay it's getting. I mean, I was pretty shocked by the comments, but I didn't think it would take on a life of it's own like this. The way it's being played out on news stations right now this looks like it will be the next Bosnia-gate.

I think she knows that she just single-handedly killed whatever remnants were left of her campaign. The media will do anything they can for ratings.

That's the feeling I get too. I almost felt bad for her when I watched her apology. She knows she went past the point of no return and just completely sank her campaign with that statement today. I would almost not be shocked if she dropped out in the next few days if this continues to stay in the news.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised either.

I'm mostly shocked out just how outraged people were about it across the board. While there are a few people out there saying people are overreacting, I haven't seen a single person actually defend what she said, even the most adamant Clinton supporter. Most people are acknowledging that it was a pretty big gaffe on her part, if not completely disgusted by it.

Personally, I think what might completely kill her campaign is if Ted Kennedy releases a statement at any point about this in the next few days. I'm sure he's probably furious about it, and if he comments on this at all he could probably singlehandedly end this race.

I think people are genuinely shocked by her comments. It completely floored me when I heard it.

Yeah, its one thing to "throw the kitchen sink" at Obama...misspeak on the importance of MLK, and lie about sniper fire...but it is a completely different animal when you invoke an assination to prove your staying power in an election. The Kennedy's have alot to deal with right now, I'm not sure if they will go through making an official statement on it or not. They may just stand back and watch the destruction. Hillary knows she screwed up, the people know she screwed up, and the media is exploiting the screw up. There really isn't much more that a Kennedy statement could do to her that hasn't already been done. You know?

Well, that's the thing. That is why her statement was so horribly timed. I mean, could she have possibly picked a worse week to bring up Bobby Kennedy's death? I'm not necessarily expecting a statement from Teddy, but if he actually does weigh in on those comments I could see it being absolutely devastating for Clinton. Her comments just really lacked tact and sensitivity toward the Kennedy family in particular, and I can only imagine he must be furious, especially given everything he is already going through.

Not that the statement would have been any less outrageous if it were made before Teddy was diagnosed, but that was sort of the icing on the proverbial cake that just made the statement that much worse.

I don't think you will see a Kennedy statement on this.

Besides, it isn't really needed. The media isn't letting her get away with her remarks.

I wouldn't be surprised if a private phone call was made.

I too doubt Ted will say anything. There's isn't much more he can add to this. The damage is done. This is a huge gaffe on her part, and naturally the media will eat it up much like they did the Obama "bitter" remark. Only he managed to clear that up for the most part. I don't think she will be able to do the same. This one is just too bad. I really am curious to see how this is going to play out in the next few days. One thing is for certain: her shot at the VP slot is definately gone now.

The VP slot is gone, but her ability to destroy the Democratic Party is still there.

My hope is after this any credibility she once had will be gone, and she will no longer even be in a position to destroy the Democratic Party. I have yet to see even Clinton supporters try and defend this one.

She seriously looked sick to her stomach during that apology. I am really starting to think if this gets played up any more than it already has she will drop out within the next week. At the very least I expect the super delegates to come out for Obama in a big way in the next week. She shot herself in the foot big time today, and not even she's self absorbed enough to not realize what she did.

She knows she screwed up big time. I bet she gives a better, more detailed apology in the next few days, in hopes that it calms things down a bit.

What I find hilarious about her justification for her statement today is this:

First off, she says she was pointing out examples of a race going well into June. She forgot to mention that in both 1992 and 1968 the primary season started in March. By June there were still nearly 20 contests to go. Of course the race was not over.

Second, she said she made the comment because Teddy Kennedy and the Kennedy family had very much been on her mind the last few days due to his illness. That's interesting considering she made pretty much the exact same comment trying to justify remaining in the race, also referring to Bobby Kennedy's assassination back in March, but for whatever reason noone called her on it then. This lady is not only certifiably nuts, but she's a horrible lier too.

Oh yeah... and to top it off, even her comments about her own husband's campaign are incorrect. For all intents and purposes he wrapped up the nomination in March. By June the only candidate left in the race was a fringe candidate that didn't stand a chance. Amazing. This story really has the potential of being even bigger than Bosnia. It keeps getting better (or worse depending on how you look at it) by the hour.

Did anyone hear her comments about RFK's assassination today? She said that the reason she shouldn't quit is because of what happened with RFK. After he was killed off during his primary, his opponent was able to secure the nomination!

I'm sorry but...she is utterly DISGUSTING. This woman is scum. I mean, think about it: Why would you bring such a thing up when you are talking about the potential first African American President??? Like I said, this heifa is totally out of control! I mean seriously--did she really just say that? Its almost too stupid to believe. :down

But I'm sure it's the media's fault.

Why is anyone surprise. You all have been giving fair warning time and time again, about this woman psyche, Socialist Ideology, and power hunger. And many of her staunch and closet supporters will continue openly, secretly, and subtlety support her over Obama, who have nothing less than Class in his campaign, whelther one agree with him or not.

 Really, thats my only response to what she said.

As of now, if (GOD FORBID) something were to happen to Obama and that disgusting WITCH Clinton gets the nomination.

I'll spend day and night campaigning for McCain. I HATE Clinton with an unforgivable passion, now.

I wouldn't go that far. I'd heavily consider looking into a third party option at this point though. It would be unbelievably hard for me to justify voting for Clinton under any circumstances right now.

Damn, Drudge is having a field day with this. These comments are like an early Christmas present for him.
