The Clinton Thread

I think it may be a neccessity. He is running a HUGE risk by having Hillary Clinton in this election through August. He may just have to give her the spot to get her to end the campaign as opposed to being attacked on two fronts, from both McCain and Clinton (because if this does come to the convention, Clinton is going to have to spend June through August attacking Obama's electability. Otherwise she will have no case for the SDs).

Having Clinton on Obama's ticket is too much baggage and would probably cause a lot of his supporters to end up disillusioned with his message of change and lose a bit of independent support which he needs since McCain takes a larger chunk of Democrats than he takes of Republicans.

ARE YOU SERIOUS??

"Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign accused Sen. Barack Obama's campaign of fanning a controversy over her describing the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy late in the 1968 Democratic primary as one reason she is continuing to run for the presidency."

This is getting pathetic. She's probably going to use her concession speech as another excuse for a waterworks display in order for her few remaining supporters to go "Hilary, you can still do it!" and "convince" her to stay in, when in fact she never planned on leaving to begin with.

F***ing christ the c*** is off her rocker

This is unacceptable.

If someone used the n-word to describe Obama, I would imagine either you or other posters would go nuts. I don't see how using the c-word to describe Clinton is any different. Thankfully, this is censored-- but it still doesn't hide the ineptitude of your insult.

I use the c word to describe Ann Coulter and other women I'm not fond of.

I dunno you both kinda have good points here

We should use "*****e bag" for them. It's a word not specific to any gender or race. It's also mind numblingly accurate.

So... the n-word is fair game, then?

If you want to use it and anger an entire group of users here, go ahead. It makes no difference to me either way.

As for my use of the word c***, you didn't complain when I've called Ann Coulter one, but because Clinton is a member of the Democratic party, you get all pissy?

I must not have noticed. I don't read every post here. I don't look at every thread, either. I think using the c-word to describe anyone, regardless of party affiliation, is absolutely degradable. It's not only degradable, it's disrespectful, and it totally ruins whatever point you're trying to make.

But since you're not Hillary Clinton or Ann Coulter, I don't care

Wooptie crap. You weren't referred to as a **** so quit whining like Hannity does when someone directs a harsh word toward Bush or the nation

The thing that strikes me as odd is how did she think using the RFK assassination as a comparison to the primaries lasting in June work as one?

With that logic your use of the c-word is offensive to an entire group of users as well.

Quit acting like a child and maybe I won't have to call you on your downright offensive choices of insults.

I think she met that "unexpected" things happen, and that if she drops out of the race, she might make a big mistake and that the party could be sent into a state of disarray. Of course, that doesn't make much sense to me, considering none of the major candidates dropped out after RFK clinched the nomination, considering he was assassinated the night he reached the "magic number." The whole analogy was unnecessary.

None the less, that was a dumb move on her part, as much as that is an understatement on my part. Especially, when she should've known what the automatic connotation would be.

Listen, let's just drop the argument okay. Addendum just don't use the c-word just like how we sensibile posters don't use the n-word, okay.
