The Comic-Con Thread

We tried and we got back on subject but then we got off again.

Sorry.

Sorry C. Lee,
It was the late late hours that did it, there were alot of people in here and people nowhere else to post so It kinda turned into a chat.

There is instant messaging, PMs, and the community forum.....the crude talk that went on here is unacceptable.

The crude stuff was a bit annoying.

Thanks that's pretty cool. Too bad they didn't show some of the footage though.

I got kind of ticked when Sam said "I'll never show this to anyone else." or something like that. (That means us:()

Listen up folks.....this is not a chat thread.

This is not for talking about porn...posting pics of half clad women....talking about going to get a sandwich....and expecially not about making lewd crude comments about women.

Several of you will be getting personal PMs of reprimand....this is a general warning to the rest of you....keep it clean...keep it on track.
I posted this a couple of hours ago.......

not really news, just another article with the same stuff.

Sneak peek for Spidey fans
2.48, Mon Jul 24 2006

Around 5,000 fans got a chance to see a teaser of Spiderman 3 at a comic book convention in San Diego.

Director Sam Raimi, producer Laura Ziskin and cast members Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard and Thomas Haden Church were in attendance to unveil the footage and answer questions.

When asked if the film was the final instalment of the series, Maguire said: "There will be some conclusions, though I wouldn't say it's necessarily the end.

"We're going to leave it open-ended. If there are stories worth telling, then we'll tell them."

The brief teaser footage featured a combination of live-action scenes with animation and computer graphics.

It also showed Sandman, a new villain played by Church, and a glimpse of Venom (Grace), Peter Parker's spider-like nemesis.

"He's more of a doppelganger to Peter," Grace told the crowd. "It's kind of a case study in if someone very similar to Peter got the same powers but didn't have a good upbringing."

Raimi later revealed that Harry Osborn (James Franco) would become a third villain and take on some of the powers of his father, the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), who was killed in the first Spider-Man film.

Actor Bruce Campbell also makes an appearance and will play a new character, who fans believe will be the villain Mysterio.

Spider-Man creator Stan Lee has his own ideas of what makes the movie a winner. "I have a cameo in it, and I think it's my best cameo," said the 83-year-old Marvel Comics master. "That's probably the high point of the movie. After that, you know, it's all a letdown."
