"Batman is psychologically full "

Thats what I like to hear.

Read: More pretentious, on the nose dialogue.

I looked over your posts and you haven't one thing to say postive about Nolan's version of Batman. Why are you here really if you seem to genuinely hate everything about the project(s)?

A Nolan basher? What else is new? :whatever:

Yeah, it's to bash Christopher Nolan, ever since

1. Heath Ledger was cast (you remember that day... crazy, I tell ya)
2. The Joker would wear make-up
3. Many Nolan-haters had to notice how TDK is gonna kick a** after the trailer was out ^^

I love the suit.

I love the suit.

Ok so theres one thing, but I submit that you will be shaking your head the entire time you watch TDK, and with a notebook as well....:oldrazz:

Bloody heck, Harmonica. 20 posts, and you're whining in all of them. Why so serious?

Eckhart just said this movie is gonna own. What didn't he get? Also, Nolan bashers are seriously weird. What is wrong with you guys. Nolan is giving us the most faithful interpretation of the Batman mythos, and he's doing it on an epic scale. Everything is drawn straight from the comics.

Googleme in disguise perhaps? Nice find.

WEB EXTRA: The Bill is due
by Corey Stulce

But before Eckhart follows his dream behind the lens, there's one role in front of the camera that has comic book and movie geeks buzzing online: Harvey Dent in the new Batman flick, “The Dark Knight,” slated for release on July 18.

The sequel sees director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale return and Heath Ledger's take on the Joker is already one of legend. Little is known about Eckhart's role as Dent, who is running for district attorney of Gotham City. Dent, as Bat-fans know, becomes the villain Two-Face after getting doused with acid.

So does Two-Face's half-burnt mug appear? Did Eckhart sign a super secrecy contract?

“You don't sign anything; you just know you're never gonna work again,” he said, flashing a knowing grin. “You could be killed.”

While he doesn't know what exactly to expect on the big screen, Eckhart has full confidence in Nolan, who scored raves for “Batman Begins.”
“He's gonna rock this thing.”

Here's what he can share about “The Dark Knight”:

“This is not a CGI movie. This is not a movie made in a studio. We were on location. We did the stunts,” he said. “This movie's a real gritty, growling tale about justice and injustice. Batman is psychologically full and he's physically full, and so is every character in the movie.

Heath gives an amazing performance. And Christian and Gary (Oldman). I'm really proud of this movie. Chris is just a masterful director.”

That's is defintely one of the best things about BB to me. It had a different feel to me for the simple fact that it didn't have a lot of CGI at all. It was refreshing to see a gritty story that is real world and doesn't depend all on CGI to make it a good movie. A lot of people just aren't wowed by that like we they used to be when CGI started to be used more and more.

Amen Brother.

From the new interview with Aaron that can be found on BOF:

On Heath Ledger:
"Whenever [Heath] was around, there was electricity. People knew. He had the total respect of the crew and they liked to watch him. Crews think that most actors are pompous, arrogant so-and-sos. To be 28 years old and to have that depth and independent thinking was remarkable. As much as it saddens me what's happened, I just am so grateful that he is in this movie and that I got to work with him. I think everybody on the set felt the same way."

On Harvey Dent:
"As Harvey Dent, he's a very hardworking crime fighter. As Harvey Two Face, he's still a crime fighter, just in the wrong way. He takes justice into his own hands. But then so does Batman. The problem is, Harvey tries to kill Batman -- that's when you get in trouble."

On TDK/Nolan:
"This is not a CGI movie. This is not a movie made in a studio. We were on location. We did the stunts. This movie's a real gritty, growling tale about justice and injustice. Let's pray he comes back for a 3rd.

Another Aaron Eckhart interview:

http://www.startribune.com/entertainment/movies/17262649.html

"We filmed it for seven months, which usually would be next to torture. But it was a dream. I've never seen anybody work like Chris -- how effortlessly he did it, with humor, a kind of quiet confidence. I've never seen anything like it."

Eckhart shared a few scenes with the late Heath Ledger, whose performance as the Joker impressed him deeply.
"Whenever he was around, there was electricity. People knew. He had the total respect of the crew and they liked to watch him. Crews think that most actors are pompous, arrogant so-and-sos. To be 28 years old and to have that depth and independent thinking was remarkable," he said. Eckhart doesn't think of his character, a conscientious lawman turned murderous vigilante, as a villain, "just someone who does what he does. As Harvey Dent, he's a very hardworking crime fighter. As Harvey Two Face, he's still a crime fighter, just in the wrong way. He takes justice into his own hands. But then so does Batman. The problem is, Harvey tries to kill Batman -- that's when you get in trouble."

I'm still wondering if the whole attempting to kill Batman remark is an unintentional spoiler.
