And, by the way, I found out recently that there's a crappy soap opera on TV here, and it's called "Duas-Caras".

Yeah, but I bet that crappy soap opera is loaded with stunning brazilian women! That's the problem with Finland. Too many blonde women and not enough dark honeys.

IGN: So it's expected that the third film will focus more on Two-Face. Will it be a solo story for him or will there be another, secondary villain included in it?

The way Nolan off-hands this Q makes me think Harvey is turning into Two Face then getting offed in this film.

Wont happen.

Great interview, and I love that he's trying to incorporate a Heatesque city feel.

:bh: :boba: :hehe: :brucebat: (just wanted to try them out)

Well, that's true. Here is an example:

My favorite part of the interview is when Nolan says that he doesn't think of it in terms of setting up for a sequel... he wants to make THIS MOVIE as good and complete as it can be.... Nolan sounds like a very smart guy!:)

I can't wait to see how Joker moves...it intrigues me. A limp? I can't wait.

^ me too!!! can't wait to see Heath play out this part, it'll be sick!!:)

This all sounds very exciting, and I'm also glad to hear that the story isn't solely focused on the Joker, which was B89's downfall. Through all this hoopla, I know I personally forgot a little about Harvey Dent & Two-Face for that matter. This movie will be big, and I want every character to have depth and screen time no matter how fantastic the Joker is...

I'm guessing The Joker has a kind of old timey stage strut, not so much a limp. That could be cool.

Decent interview. While I like that Nolan seems to value most of the things I do about these characters...does anyone else worry that THE DARK KNIGHT may end up feeling a bit too "crowded"? I'm also not sure it's a good idea to rush Harvey Dent's transformation into Two-Face this way. Maybe have him scarred, but to actually go all out and show him becoming Two-Face...

We'll see how it works, I guess.

Good interview. I do like how he views making movies. As if every one he is doing at the moment is his last movie. Sounds like under the radar he is planning for BB3. Cuz there was that talk of his bro working on the early script for Shadow of the Bat.

I really respect Nolan. Seems like he could have a very deep conversation with anyone.

Uber cool interview.

I love this line about the Joker... " we don’t show the origin of the Joker, we show the rise of the Joker."

Maybe it should've been title the Dark Knight: Rise of the Joker! :woot:

Nice find. I like that Nolan is just focusing on this film for now, but he always gets me worried when he refuses to acknowledge sequels. We all know he has a planned trilogy, so I really hope he gets to finish this entire story out before packing his bags. Don't pull a Singer on us, man. :o

Yea I don't think he will *pull a Singer on us*. I just like how he does treat every movie as if its his last. Making sure the movie is at highest quality.

Thanks for the heads up

If you click on the Joker pic, you get a full view photo of the pic. Looks like this takes place after the semi flips.

Yeah it definately looks like it's from that scene.

I never seen A widescreen version of that pic before, too cool!

Very nice! It has been a rather quiet week so this is great! I'm gonna take my time with this one! Damn that sounded perv...

Interesting. Originally, many of us thought that the image was from when Joker crashes the penthouse party, but the semi is clearly in the back. Good find.
