That a good read, made me a little teary. Nolan sounds so nice.

Wonderfully written. Chris Nolan is such a good guy.

Until now, I felt awkward discussing TDK and I was wondering what I would feel when I would watch the movie. Sitting and reading this, I think about the movie in a different way.

Sometimes I forget that he's a great writer as well. Chris, thank you for writing this. It's a great way to remember Heath. You've changed my views concerning TDK and Heath's death. The movie will turn out fantastic and Heath would be really proud.

Very nice touching read.

And it does not surprise me, I knew Nolan would continue the work and show us all what Heath and him wanted us all to see.

What a simple, yet thoughtful way to remember and honor Heath.

This really gave you an idea of what Heath was really like. Great read.

Just great. Funny how he first fretted about fans seeing a "skateboarding Joker."

I was impressed by the mixture of sensitivity and professionalism.

That is by far, the sweetest and nicest on-set story I've ever read. Beautifully written by Nolan.

Great read. Good to hear Nolan speaking on Heath's death.

That, Sir, was classy...nice work.

although, I know wonder if in this light of Heath if we'd ever get a BM3. Because I see Nolan feeling that it would be a great disrespect to Heath and his performance.

But if he decides to continue (which I think at this point isn't very good that he decides to) Would we get an other version of the Joker? It would seem to me that it would happen that way. I see Nolan holding TDK's Joker sacred....

Sad.

Sucks, He Never got to see the cut. But I know What we Get on film will be one of Heath's Best performances

What guaranteed fact was there that the Joker was supposed to be in part 3?

Wow, what a great article. I'm glad to hear Nolan's opinons and thoughts. He really respected Heath, and I think he'll hold this performance in high regard.

Now that I've read it, I'm not bothered by him waiting a couple days to make a statement since he was clearly thinking about what to say that would be meaningful.

One time he and another actor were shooting a complex scene. We had two days to shoot it, and at the end of the first day, they'd really found something and Heath was worried that he might not have it if we stopped. He wanted to carry on and finish. It's tough to ask the crew to work late when we all know there's plenty of time to finish the next day. But everyone seemed to understand that Heath had something special and that we had to capture it before it disappeared. Months later, I learned that as Heath left the set that night, he quietly thanked each crew member for working late. Quietly. Not trying to make a point, just grateful for the chance to create that they'd given him.

Gives you an idea of the kinda guy Heath was.....Great article, nicely done Nolan!

Very touching, great stories. It also makes it that much sadder that we have lost some one of such great talent and creative energy.

One of my favorite articles I've ever read. Cheers Nolan, you put both Heath's life and death in completely new perspectives, and I believe for the better. It makes me also want to see the movie even more.
