I agree, not fair at all

Someone should shoot that guy in the face, that’ll show him
A click is a click to them.In the last 5 years especially, there has been a huge rise in bad-faith film/TV 'journalists' and websites/channels whose sole purpose is to post misinformation/lies in order to enrage its readers/viewers in the hopes of tanking a film at the box office.
Nearly every film attached to a major IP has to battle this out online. Look at all the corrections James Gunn has to do on Twitter. I remember the same thing with James Mangold for Indiana Jones 5 where he was online shooting down lies about the film having test screenings, the film being 'woke' and shoving feminism into the film, Indy being emasculated, etc.
Was any of it true? No.
But those peddling it didn't care because these people's goal is to sink a film's reputation, especially among a certain side of the political aisle.
This happens for nearly every major film release these days. Some films more than others. Some films are affected more than others.
I'm tired of bad-faith, agenda-driven hate campaigns, though. Fandom and geekdom has become infected.
That's a little overly optimistic, and as ViewerAnon has also pointed out, the same guy projected $115-140mil opening for The Flash at the same distance from its release. Obviously The Flash had a whole lot of other factors working against it that aren't in play here, but still, I think he tends to be especially bullish, at least with DC stuff, as he was too high on pretty much all of their releases over the last couple years, including The Batman.
Box Office Theory's initial forecast is a $144M - $185M (3 day opening weekend)*
*From their website: All forecasts and tracking ranges above are reflective only of how the films are trending or expected to trend ahead of release. They are not final forecasts or predictions and are subject to revision at any time based on evolving market conditions and various circumstances that are factored into our modeling.
Wide window, but they mention in the article there are a number of forecasting uncertainties. With that said, general sales remained strong even after Amazon/Fandango's exclusive ticket release.
Lots of things to be optimistic (dare I say, hopeful) about!
What happened to hashtag close your wallets??? The bros have to be beside themselves. You literally can’t get a ticket from any of the big local theaters for Superman across the country. Not to get too hyped but Deadpool and Wolverine was tracking at $160 million three weeks out and it ended up at over $200 million opening weekend.

She is the daughter of a General just say she grew up on bases and that is all you need.
Can easily be dealt with a single line, "Lois looks at the controls of the T-Craft with nervous confusion: 'Well, these aren't exactly the same as those Hueys I flew with Dad when we were posted to Germany, but let's hope they are close enough...'"Respectfully. I know a gal like that and she doesn’t know to use a weapon and sorts. Having said that! All I need is a line tis’ all, a throw away one. Minor nitpick I know. I honestly didn’t even know that was part of her character, so good to know. At the same time, I would not believe for one minute the Amy Adams version/Kidder/from what I seen the sexy Hatcher could get behind a chopper or any type of plane. I don’t need a ‘’He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders… right before she died.” But give me something. Lawd.
Honestly, you don't even need to put a line there in that moment at all. Just drop a line somewhere in the film about her being raised on the military bases, and those looking for dots to connect can do so.Can easily be dealt with a single line, "Lois looks at the controls of the T-Craft with nervous confusion: 'Well, these aren't exactly the same as those Hueys I flew with Dad when we were posted to Germany, but let's hope they are close enough...'"
Done.
Yeah, true, but it is a classic cinematic trope for a character in a situation like that to make a nervous quip as they eye the controls. IE. Mav trying to remember the Tomcat controls when gets in.Honestly, you don't even need to put a line there in that moment at all. Yeah, I noticed that too during the first few times I watched the trailer.I just realized a little misdirection in the most recent trailer. Lex says "and that reporter you always do interviews with." He's totally talking about Clark, not Lois, imo, because this whole film takes place over a week and that interview scene seems to be Lois' first time interviewing him. Whereas we already know Clark has been writing ethically-dubious fluff articles about himself for a while - which I think is the big point of contention that leads to the Clois interview scene in the first place.
