I suspect whomever the cast as Batman ( or possibly casted), will not be any of the names suggested by fans.

I am totally expecting someone out of left field. It definitely will not be the guys who have been vocally campaigning for the part like Skelnar, Ritchson, Jensen.

Given Gunn's recent comments in Rolling Stone about Wonder Woman and Batman being his priority, it would not shock me of both roles have been casted.

I don’t think Batman and Wonder Woman have been casted but I think they have an idea of who the favorite is similar to David and Milly for the kryptonians. To be honest I think Aaron for John Stewart was in a similar light.

I will bet money they want Superman and Batman to be of similar physiques. I doubt Ritchson gets more than a cursory name drop by clickbaiters.

Batman has to lead a franchise and co-lead a Justice League film and Ritchson doesn't strike me as the guy to put that on the shoulders of. If he is in the DCU he will be in a (no pun intended) smaller role.

Unlike superman, I think you have to go with a name that's well known for Batman.
I'd love see either jake gyllenhaal or jensen ackles.
And for brainiac, Tilda Swinton.

I've never been in the Gyllenhaal camp. Talented actor but something about him and his voice would not come across convincing as Batman. I do not want another Bale over exaggerated voice or Affleck's robotic modulated one.

Supposedly James Gunn is casting these roles with chemistry tests with other actors. Some have speculated that Gunn may be bringing in Corenswet to see how the everyone is playing off one another.

I feel like we don’t have to worry about a silly Batman voice this time around. Gunn even thought Keaton’s Batman voice was silly (something I don’t understand at all) so I doubt we have to worry about a Clint Eastwood growl or a robot voice.

Colin Farrell or Ryan gosling would be two more I think could pull it off. Especially Colin. He has the bad boy personality down which would be great as Bruce.

I don’t think Colin would do it after also playing The Penguin. Maybe, supposedly he was also being considered to Sgt. Rock, but I see him steering clear of other Batman-related characters if he does do another comic book role.

He was rumored to be batman back when wolfgang Petersen was going to make a wf film. Again, supposedly Jude law was superman.

That part! Superman has one of the most inspired casts in recent comic book history. Then we got Aaron Pierre as John Stewart and Jason Mamoa as Lobo?! I'm sure his pick for Batman will be top tier casting.

I assume you mean Adria? I guess considering her involvement with people already close to the production she's the obvious choice but I was speaking more in terms of finding someone who is as ideal to the role as Corenswet is to Superman. That's already a tall order for Batman, even more so for WW.

Yeah I meant Adria. I feel like there are a number of really good choices out there but Adria just feels perfect to me, like Coronswet was for Supes.

I think I have heard from fans 4 good choices for Wonder Woman. I thought it would be hard to replace Gale but these ladies feel right. Gale was so attractive though. Her smile lit up the room.

When it comes to bringing Batman (and his world) into the DCU, I thought it would be neat if they held off on him and introduced us to Bruce Wayne first.

Have it be through Lex Luthor or my favorite idea: Having him buy The Daily Planet.

I feel like you could bring in Batman into an eventual Superman sequel even without it becoming a Superman/Batman movie.

But yeah, it would be cool if Bruce Wayne bought the Daily Planet.

And the DCU should definitely lean in more into Bruce's business enterprises and make that part of his schtick.
