The Daily Planet Vol. 2: Superman News and Speculation Thread (🚨TAG SPOILERS🚨)

You speak for this so called majority despite box office success? Try again...
It's fine to like something... but the idea that BvS (or even MoS) were box office successes is pure fantasy. Especially BvS. It was seen as a criticial and financial failure almost unanimously. While it might have made 800M or whatever, having Batman and Superman in the same movie should be the blueprint for an easy billion.

Trying to argue otherwise is a fool's errand. It's totally fine to like or love something. I get it, I generally enjoy the movies (despite their massive shortcomings). But let's be realistic about their reception and their place in the world.

Those two new spots were incredible, as is the poster. The tiny cast pictures at the bottom remind me of the poster from Superman II.

The Superman spot: I'm glad we have a Superman that allows himself to be hurt, upset and vulnerable. It shows that for all of his indestructibility, he still feels pain.

The Lex spot: They're playing Lex up as the ULTIMATE Superman hater and I am here for it! Like he's someone who wakes up and chooses violence. He lives to make Superman miserable. Plus, we get to see more of "smart-a** Superman" here.

So, if this doesn’t make more at the box office than MOS what would you call it?
