I will say that there are bad opening crawls out there. Johnny Mnemonic comes to mind lol. But unless it’s some excessively long, mind-numbing BS that makes your IQ points drop like that, I think we’ll be fine.

i think it would be cool if there was an opening crawl ala star wars.

it would make it feel more mythic - like they are about to regale you with an epic tale of heroes, villains, and adventure!

Is this legit? To me, it almost looks like protection from the sun, Almost looks like mummy wrappings, or what the sand people in SW wore for protection from the elements.
So whomever UM is, apparently the sun ( or Earth's atmosphere ) appears to be deadly to him.

Maybe it IS a clone, albeit an imperfect one, and too much sunlight can make him go DEFCON?

Avoiding all the TV spots, by trying to slide or swipe through them, yet I feel almost as if I've seen too much. I've seen constant replays of "Hey buddy, eyes up here!" and the flight up the sky repeatedly. Even though I tried skipping, I still heard it, or saw a screenshot with the quote, "You're obsession with me is getting a little creepy" followed by Lex's line, "Don't worry...not my type, Martian..." (whatever he said) but it seems like I already know the dialogue.

I remember a decade ago after watching the Avengers: Age of Ultron "characters" TV spot, I remember getting so hyped, but two days after watching it, my anticipation level went down.

This feels like the longest two weeks ever...oh wait, that's 2.5 weeks. (I counted too soon) I actually dreamt last week that it was closer to late June, and the film coming out this weekend (sooner than I counted) and I had forgotten to book my tickets. It was just a dream though then realized there was actually three more weeks.
