But back to Superman, the new S.H. Figuarts figure was teased today.

That Superman is a definite buy!

I had the McFarlane figure pre-ordered at first, but I figured eventually we'd get some more premium figures. Or I at least hoped for either MAFEX or S.H. Figuarts to announce a DCU Superman figure.

I have the McFarlane figure with the wired cloth cape - it's a great figure and I'm very happy with it.

I've also pre-ordered the new Superman figure made by FondJoy. Looks amazing, comparable to what SH makes, and for the price of McFarlane. I'd encourage you to give it a look.

I still expect this movie to draw strong opinions online, good and bad, although I suspect it will be much better received by the GA than the Singer and Snyder films. I also expect it will be less divided than those films, but I am anticipating some very negative reviews.

Neither is going to ruin my enjoyment or make me dislike it. SR is my favorite film and I hate Snyder's films. I'm going into this film with my own expectations.

I remember a round table of guys reviewing The Batman on YouTube. I thought they saw Batman and Robin by the way they where criticizing the movie.

Yeah enjoy it for yourself and remember Minecraft/Lilo and Stitch’s reviews were not great at all.

I really don't get the online discourse about the Superman meeting Lex clip, saying that Dave showed "too much" emotion in the scene...

Like... Superman has showed emotion before, especially when egged on by Luthor of all people his arch nemesis, guys existed for 70+ years in the comics.

i watched the clip but with the audio turned off so i won't spoil myself.

but it looks like something straight out of a comic book.

people who don't know the character and the comics just want to find something to complain about.

their only reference to superman is snyder's superman who was portrayed as too stoic.
