For me, in the next film, I want to see more of the DP crew and more of Clark being a reporter.
A proper shirt rip, and a scene showing just how strong Superman is so the talk of this Superman being weak will go away ( even tho it shouldn't have been an issue anyway with him holding the kaiju's leg up )

More time with the DP crew (they're great!) and DP Clark I definitely wanna see more of.

P.S.: I don't know how people can say that Superman's weak. Have they sat through the movie's ending?

He overcomes the ****ty time in his life AND kicks everyone's ass. With both brain and muscles, and hella stylish moves on top of that.

The most inventive use of Superman 's powers I've seen so far on the big screen!

And what's cool is that his fight moves say a lot about his personality , too.

Yeah I don’t see how you can call Superman weak in this movie. He gets beat down, sure; but… so has every version of the character I think? And he ultimately defeats all his enemies so… I dunno.

Anyway though, that Daily Planet featurette they just released is super cool and leaves me wanting so much more from all of them. I hope that Jimmy Olsen and/or DP series happens. And I hope they have a big role in the next film.

the whole superman is weak complaint for this film is just a bad faith argument. and probably by those who don't read the comics nor have watched any of the animated films/ shows.

When does everyone think we'll get any kind of sequel news? Maybe New York Comic Con if Gunn is aiming for 2027 with this Superman-adjacent movie he's working on.

I feel like they skipped SDCC so they could show up big time at NYCC. Hopefully with news and info about what will be just on the horizon.

They had a big Peacemaker show at SDCC.

But maybe they'll be at NYCC. I could see them debuting a Lanterns teaser. Or the one for Supergirl.

I feel like the times of big studio announcements at Comic Cons have kind of come to an end. Or at least they won't be the go to places for such stuff anymore IMO.

Rather, they'll go to these venues when they've got something to present for specific projects.

A release date and title announcement in the trades is what I'd rather expect.

I think NYCC might give us something. Maybe nothing HUGE but Gunn has been regularly teasing this sequel or whatever it is so I feel like there is chance he could make an announcement. If not, then I hope we at least get some footage of Lanterns or Supergirl.

Curiously, NYCC coincides with the same weekend the season finale of Peacemaker debuts.

Ohhh nice I didn’t know that. That could work out really well. I feel like they didn’t make any real announcements for Superman, Supergirl or Lanterns at SDCC because they didn’t want to undercut their Peacemaker panel but with Peacemaker wrapping up then it’s prime time for the next announcement.

2027 Superman returns to the big screen in a big DCU movie where he leads and won’t be demoted to C list hero by the end of the movie. Robert Pattinson’s long awaited return as Batman.

This is fan made. We don't really know how the title cards were originally been placed and timed in, but I had no problem with the final cut's flow.

I think it was UNDOUBTEDLY the right choice.

I have said it before but i do hope they can merge the universes and we get Corenswet and Pattinson in a 10 picture RDJ type deal. Timeskip after The Batman Part 2 scrap Damian plan start of with Dick as Robin(18 or so).Maybe tie in Dynamic duo if it works. Get Jack Champion or whoever else cast. 5 or so Batman films(or whatever amount Pattinson is down for) , a worlds finest or Trinity film and Justice league trilogy.

Kinda would be annoyed though if we dont get a proper Superman trilogy.

A 10 picture deal seems very unlikely.

I like the scene but its understandable why it was cut. Clark had too little dialogue before Metropolis so even more people would have called him boring. The deleted farm scene is great too.

Superman barely has any dialogue in the entire movie so I don’t see why that’s a problem lol. I get what you mean though.
