Will the Batjet be in the film, or do you think this is just merchandise and wont feature in the movie?

Yep. Some need to remeber that just because there a toy in the movie line don't mean it's in the movie. This happend many times. They made one of Scarecrow & Vegenance for the Ghost Rider toyline & they weren't even in the movie. Fantastic Four 1 was suppose to have their 5th wave which should have Doombot & Annihulus, but that wave line never got released. Those 2 characters weren't in the movie either.

ok, well even though the OP of this thread got banned, i have kept in contact with him, through youtube actually, and this is what he said about the TDK figures:

Tell the guy on the forums in my TDK Figure thread that I didn't bull****. The director of the line told me there would be 6 characters in the Superposable Collector's line. The description means only 4 figures come in a box. But the characters are mixed and matched in each. There will be a BEGINS Bat-suit, TDK Bat-suit, Joker, Two Face, Scarecrow, and I think Ra's Al Ghul is the 6th character. And he said there would be more if the line sold well, and they'd continue to release other characters from this movie or the last one well into the next year.

And for the 5.5 line for TDK ... they said there would be 6 villians. The only ones that I postively know are being released are a new Scarecrow, Two-Face, and two different variations of the Joker from The Dark Knight. That's 4 villians total. The two remaining figures were suggested to be "movie inspired by" villians.

Ok...it is seriously, SERIOUSLY not nice to play with peoples emotions here......is this Thread sayin' what I think it's saying? There is ACTUALLY HOPE that there will be 6-inch movie accurate Batman movie figures from Begins and Dark Knight?

Are you tellin' me....that all the money I have saved up in order to personally track down the decision makers at Mattel responsible for the atrocious Begins 'Happy Meal' toys one by one and boot them in the junk?

This....this is good, nay-GREAT news!!! I am soooo ****ing excited if this is actually true.....I saw the link at Wizard.com talking about it but I will believe it when I am holding them potentially beautiful figures in my hot little hands!

OK, i just got another answer from the OP after someone asked me about the 6 inch line. the guys question was:

"Hi! I saw in the toy thread that you still kept in contact with the thread starter. Would you mind just asking him one question? He mentioned that the mattel rep talked of "surprises" that would be in the line? Could you ask him in a short message what he meant by that? Maybe getting a version of maskless bruce wayne to get Bale's likeness in there?"



here was the OP's answer:

"As far as that was concerned, he didn't want to give too much away. He slipped and mentioned a "Firefly Movie" interpretation. Who knows, maybe he'll be a quick side villain, like Mr Zsaz was in BEGINS? IDK exactly what he was reffering to but he said there would be quite a few suprises, just as there will be in the movie.

Whatever the case is ... support the collectors line NO MATTER WHAT. For if that line does well, we could get a collector's "Retro Movie" line w/ Reeve's Superman, Keaton's Batman. The possibilities would be endless. How cool would it be to have a two pack box set w/ a 6 inch highly poseable Keaton Batman from B89 next to Bale's Batman from TDK. Called "The generations of The Dark Knight." Or a two pack w/ a 6 inch Nicholson Joker and Ledger Joker. That's what I'm hoping for in terms of success and suprises."
