And yes, I watched the movie with subtititles but you don't need to--if you use headphones, you'll clearly hear "sss...cs?"

Why didn't they blame the Dent murders on the Joker or any other murderers, thugs, mobster involved with the Joker?

I have asked this from a lot of forums and I already have an idea about it but I still want to hear from you guys what do you think about it.

Because it's one thing to blame yourself for something you haven't done, but it's something else entirely to frame an "innocent" person. The Joker was innocent in this case as he didn't actually kill these people. Blaming him would be incredibly immoral as he's guilty only in the broadest sense. Plus, it's possible that his goons or hostages could provide him with an alibi.

You can't blame a goon or a mobster for the murders either without running the risk that an innocent criminal will be arrested for the crimes.
