you going to the 730 showing friday night?
ill be there with my wife(she'll have the look of relief on her face).
 
I'm going to the Thursday night (Friday morning) IMAX showing at 12:01. It sold out literally in 2 days online. I'm getting there around 7-7:30pm to try and get get a decent seat. I really have no idea when I should get there.

I didn't see a Friday night IMAX showing on the fandango site, just the sold out midnight and 3am.
 
I thought it would be a good idea to have a meet up thread for those who are planning to attend the NYC Premiere. And for those going to the soundtrack signing the same night. I will be trying to get to both. (Delete if bad idea J)

I want to go to the premiere more. Hopefully get some pics/autographs of the cast.
 
Just got my tickets for the 5.15 pm showing on the 24th at the london imax, if anyone else is thinking of getting tickets, i'd advise you do it asap, there were about five seats left for the first day, and the weekend is getting sold out pretty quick. Normally i'd go to my local cinema but after seeing the prologue at the imax there's only one way to go....waterloo imax here i come, anyone else from the uk gonna be at that showing let me know.
 
Me and 5 others are going to the new roc city IMAX at 12:01... I plan on getting there by 5 or 6 to secure some seats and just to hang around. Anyone wanna meet up? PM me!

This is an odd notion to me, you can't prebook a specific seat?

Up until you guys mentioned doing that, I have never heard of that. I went to the superman returns IMAX showing and it was just like a normal theater, you come early and get whichever seat. When I ordered my tickets off fandango, it never asked me to do that. In any event, I want to go earlier and meet the fellow fans n hopefully some SHH members. If anyone in the NYC area got to prebook seats for the Lincoln square IMAX or new roc city, let me know asap
 
Leeds Vue on the 23rd at 8pm, or the nationa media museum IMAX in Bradford on the 24tyh at 2PM, anyone else goign to either?

In the UK, if you prebook from a cinemas site, it's pretty par for the course that you get a little seat map and can pick a seat. Can even do it for the London IMAX.

This is the first time I've heard about the soundtrack signing, but hopefully I'll be able to go to both that and the premiere. I've never tried to go to a premiere before though, so how early do you have to get there and (sorry if this is a stupid thing to ask) but how much are the fans involved? Will we just be watching from afar or do you actually get to be near the cast and possibly get autographs and stuff?
