Yeah, if they had a Harvey chase fig, it would've been perfect. But Two-Face is gonna have a burned suit/hand. I've gotta look around...

Today was pretty much a success. Stopped at the mall to check KB Toys, FYE, Hot Topic and Spencers. KB Toys (I don't know if that's a national chain or not), had nothing but basic figures. Stopped at Spencer's gifts and found Dark Knight posters, which was amazing. I bought the "why so serious" poster and one of Batman himself. There were tons there, so I decided to wait for the HA! poster. FYE had tons of posters, too, but I didn't get any.Then at Hot Topic they had many great Dark Knight T-shirts, but I again went with the Why So Serious poster print, it's crazy dope. Unfortunately, TRU still hasn't restocked. They keep giving me bullcrap about manufacturer's not sending them. All I have is the MM Batman and Thug, still no Joker. I've checked 4 days in a row! Give me my MM!

Batman fans have cleaned out New York toy stores' entire supply of Heath Ledger's Joker action figure, within minutes of their going on sale.

Devotees of the comic book series lined up early to clear shelves of the $9.99 (€6.55) toy, which shows Ledger in his final completed role before his premature death in January from an accidental drug overdose, aged just 29.

An employee of Times Square's Toys R Us store says: "There are none left in the warehouse. You will be waiting a while if you want one."






Some fans are believed to be buying up stock, convinced the figure is a collector's item - others are selling them on auction site eBay for up to $55 (€35.50) each.

Ledger will be seen as The Joker alongside Christian Bale's Batman in 'The Dark Knight' - which hits movie theatres worldwide from July.

The K-B manager claims a delivery arrives later today, so I'll be going back.

Went back and talked to who I thought was the manager. He turned out to be an assistant manager...anyway, nothing in the new shipment, but he tells me they did get a case in last week, and, "the manager bought the entire case before it ever hit the shelves."
He told me to check back on Thursdays. It's bad enough that these things are scarce and we have to drive all over the place, going back to these stores day after day, but when managers are hoarding the product before the customers even get a chance, it's just wrong.

I Am So sick of going to various shops and seeing nothing TDK related and then asking employees when to expect to see them on shelves who look as if you are speaking a different language

Empty shelves stacked with crappy transformer toys and spidey 3 (Which are covered in dust)

Iron Man is owning the shelves atm with speed racer

hulk and indy are appearing on shelves now

I'm in SE OK and my Walmart just got their first stock of toys on Thursday. I picked up a Joker. They had 2. They had 3 Batman and 3 Thug. Didn't look like any were bought. Nice thing about small town Walmarts... you usually don't have to worry about fighting crowds.

Well it ain't over till it's over. The figures have been out for what? One week? Many of you are acting like your never going to see them when they really haven't even hit yet. Do you guys think that each store gets one case and then thats it? This is Mattel, ****ing MATTEL, not some company known for their limited premium products.

Agreed. And think of the timing as well. Still two months until the movie hits theaters. When it gets closer to the time for the movie to hit, I wouldn't be surprised if the MMs are all over the place (and I imagine some folks will be embarassed over spending $50 for one on ebay ).
