I went to Hot Topic today. They had the new Batman poster shirt. They also had the Joker holding the gun and him with the card in front of his face. They had my size in the gun shirt but they didn't have my size for the other one. Then I took the display one off the wall and checked the tag and it was a medium. So I asked the guy if I could take that one and he said yeah.

So, if anybody has trouble finding a medium try to take a look at the display model shirt. That's the second time that the display model shirt was a medium when I was looking for one.

ok guys in the UK, i went for a bit shopping today. not just any shopping, TDK shopping t:

First off went to TRU. i struggled to find their TDK stand amoungst all of this summer massive blockbusters like Spiderman 3. seriously the Hulk and Iron Man stands were pathetic too!

No jokers at all, just batman variants and scarecrow of the basic line. I asked two employees about whether or not they were getting any jokers in, they said no and he didnt think they had any in. translated to yes we did, we recieved a few but we decided to keep them back for ourselves. I was gonna buy a staff strike batman but didn;t want to shell out 7.99 for a poorly painted figure. The only cool thing I saw that TRU had was the Tumbler/Batpod combo but for the meaty price of £29.99! I decided not to get it as i would prefer to hold out for the hot toys one.

I then went across to Cribbs Causeway in Bristol to try my luck at HMV and clothes stores. I walk into HMV see the white joker smile tee with panda eyes staring at me. I walk over and its only in L and XL. disappointed i thought i would look at the posters. They had two joker posters, one HA poster and 1 joker why so serious (not the theatrical poster one) poster and 1 batman poster. but whilst i was looking through them i saw a big box on the floor.
Guess what it was full of?

about 20 yes 20 Joker tees and with loads of smalls and medium. to my delight i dug through the box without getting stopped by anyone and rushed to the desk to pay for it. leaving the store with a smile on my face i saw French connection. I went over not expecting the t-shirts to be in as the website said they were released on the 7th of july. I saw 3 racks and a table full of TDK t-shirts in all sizes! I rushed over and tried them all on lol (hey if they were there to try thats what i was gonna do right?) In the end i settled for the heath joker tee and the red batman/gotham skyline symbol tee. Strangly enough i got them for £40 when the ticket on the joker one said £25 oh well nice to have money off. the lady who served me was really nice and said oh you must be one of the first to buy these are you a big fan? I just said thats a silly question and smiled. she said since ur such a big fan i'll give some promo stuff, she gave me 2 hulk posters and 4 keyrings. i was like thanks a lot, even tho the keyrings are **** and the hulk posters arent amazing.

So after that my ride was about to leave so i had to go but i was pretty pleased with what i got and finally seeing some TDK merch hitting the UK!

Anybody messing with the 4" figs from Target? I can't find the Thermo-Bats w/ Thug.

I'm missing that one, it's a shame they don't come with accessories.

hey guys... just got back from finally picking up the DCD Joker bust...
as deadgoon posted here earlier, the size of the bust is a negative of the the product. it's 4.75" tall, and looks smaller in person, which is somewhat disappointing considering the $60 price tag, although the high price is probably due to its limited amount of pieces and it's medium (porcelain). however, the bust is a nice edition for TDK merch collectors and i very much agree with Deadgoon's opinion: if you have the money to spend, or are heavily into all things TDK joker, get it. if you don't have the funds, pass it up.

Pros:
--impeccable detail (esp. the face and cards)
--sculpt and colors are spot on. (the hair sculpt is plenty better than the DCD 13")
--handwritten number of what piece (out of 6000) your specific bust is

Cons:
--the price to size ratio doesn't quite match up.

Mongoose, you're right. When I picked it up at the comic shop, I was handed the box and it was a great size. I was excited that it'd be a relatively decent sized bust, and then we opened it up to make sure the actual bust wasn't damaged.... and the box is an illusion. The bust is being held between two styrofoam halves and the styrofoam is what fills out the size of the box. Again, i would only recommend this bust if you have the money to spend, or if you are just heavily into all this TDK merch.
