I liked the first issue quite a bit. Especially Wonder Woman and the bonus Atom story.
That's just the cover of the Atom mini-comic included with issue #1. I believe Miller isn't on art duty on DKIII other than the mini's included in every issue.Glad to hear people are enjoying DK III, I kind of wrote it off after seeing the ridiculous cartoonish Superman art - but if it's good I'll be happy to give credit where credit is due.
Hope Miller's condition is indeed improving. I don't always agree with him on things, but nobody deserves cancer - except perhaps the worst that humanity has to offer - and Miller's a grumpy, biased man, but not a bad man at all.
Also, I have always acknowledged his immense talent as a storyteller and the immeasurable contribution he made to the superhero genre in the 80's - Miller, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman and a few other writers changed the entire direction of the genre. I still maintain Elektra Assassin is a work of genius, and it was a huge thrill to get Bill Sienckiwicz to sign my copy last year !
Anyway, hope DKIII MR is as good as everyone says.

Mmhmm the last page![]()
Has Superman appeared yet? Like a proper appearance?
The way he's written in this may depend on whether or not I read it.
Yeah, pointless nostalgic cash grab, but there's a lot of the going on between DC and Marvel these days.

From what I've heard of DK3, it sounds serviceable, and not as offensive as TDK Strikes Again. But maybe on the dull side.
