Character You Would Like To Play: Magneto
Powers: A class 5 mutant, and among the most powerful on Earth, Erik Magnus Lehnsherr is the master of magnetism, possessing complete control of any metal based objects. This ability also gives him flight, and energy projection, making him all the more dangerous. It has also been hinted that Erik is somehow telepathic, but it has never been truly known to be fact.
Basic History Of The Character (Up until this point): Born a mutant, Erik Magnus Lehnsherr grew a profound hatred for humankind when, as a boy, he was taken to a variety of mutant concentration camps after the first mutantary outbreak occured, in the mid 1940's. Escaping enprisonment and journeying to America, Erik befriended a fellow mutant and powerful telepath named Charles Xavier, who worked as a mutant rights activist and peace negotiator. For years, the two worked to clear the name of all mutants in the public's image, but after a decade, all hope seemed lost that mutants would ever be treated as equals. The situation only worsened for Erik when his young daughter, Wanda Maximoff, was put into a comatose state by human cruelty for her mutant powers. Embittered at this and pushed to the edge, Erik abandoned Charles' conquest for peace and resorted to a hostile frame of mind: If mutants could not be treated fairly, they would be the only race to remain on Earth. Disappearing for a number of years, his activities and whereabouts unknown, Erik resurfaced years later as the leader of a war-torn island called Genosha, a haven for outcasted and vengeful mutants shunned by the outside world. Renaming himself Magneto, Erik strives to wipe out humankind, before they wipe out mutantkind.
Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:
1. We need more villains, and Magneto is among the top that Marvel has.
2. I'm a fan of the character's motivations, as he strives for an ideal much like the heroes do. He just happens to disinclude humankind, in them.
3. Ian McKellen's portrayl in the X-Men films swayed me to like the character.
What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person (IE: How are you changing him or her?): Being that I don't know entirely much about Magneto, I'd like to think that my portrayl of him will introduce many unique elements. But I'm not entirely sure what they are as, like I said, I don't know much about the character, outside of what I've learned through the animated series and films.
Two Complete Sentences In Proper English Explaining What You Can Bring To This RPG (As A Player): I like to think that I'm a decent writer, so there's that. I also want to try and elevate a potential story arc that could serve as the focal point for banding the heroes together for the first time.

Magneto floated above a crowded war room, within his Genoshian castle. Below him stood various costumed individuals, all of which were mutants. They had been outcasted and scared from civilised society by the very prorprietors and leaders that the rest of the world regarded as heroes. The notion of this made Magneto sick. But soon, he would show the mutants that looked to him now, for guideance, just who the true leaders of this world were. And what the future held, itself, in regards to their own hope.
"My brothers,", He began, eloquence booming from his voice, as he stared upon the listening mutants.
"For too long have you stood among the lower class of the world, being forced to hide in the shadows as the rest of the homosapiens lived the lives of luxury for the simple purpose to spite you. Now, I offer you a chance to take the lives of which are rightfully yours."
He could see the smiles, growing upon their faces, at his words. It made his own quest all the more nessacary, in his eyes.
"Tonight, the world is ruled by corruption and humanry cruelty. But I assure you... under my leadership, and my guideance, those days will be of the past!"
As the cheers errupted below him, Magneto began to realise that finally, his vision may actually be beginning to reach fruition. And with that, a pleasant thought entered his mind: Heaven help the human populance.
